I am about to replace all the power steering components in my 72 Duster with Borgeson. I just want to make sure I am getting the correct stuff.
The pump is PN 800337
Steering box PN 800126
Coupler PN 036425
Hose kit PN 925113
Does this look correct? Any tips/tricks? I've never done anything like this so I'm rather nervous since being able to steer is kind of important.
Thanks!!!!

You have the correct list of components there! You can preview the product instructions by part number at the following link:Borgeson Universal Company :: Instructions we are always available to talk with should you have any installation questions 860-482-8283 if its the weekend you can even contact us through our facebook page.

I put your box in a few years ago and it leaked from day one. I have to pull the motor to get it out. I pulled the motor a year ago to be exact I sent the box back to you paid freight to get it there and back. I told you it leaked you checked it out said it didn’t leak I should buy your hoses so I did I put it back in and immediately started leaking again now what do you suggest I do with this leaker. I have the motor out again.

If you are using our hoses make sure that the end with the longer metal hardline is at the steering box connection. Both ends of the pressure line have the same thread however the end with the long metal hardline has a longer thread needed to reach the flare inside the hose port of the gearbox, if the line is reversed it will not seal and will leak at the pressure port.

I am thinking about using one of these boxes in my 71 Charger over a rebuilt box from Firm Feel as I already have 2 of those (which I really like). The main reason I am considering it is because I am going to be running a 5.7 Hemi and I am concerned about the PS pump pressures. I am also intending on running a Hydroboost system, so I am trying to figure out how to make all this work.

The box has a maximum operating pressure of 1450PSI with an optimal pressure of 1100-1200 PSI, flow rate should be kept between 2-2.5 GPM

Thanks for the information, it looks like the Holley pump might be the one I need to go with, it has 1200 psi and a flow rate of 2.8 gpm.

That would be perfect, we have -6AN adapters for the box part #925121 that should help you out with the plumbing as well.

Excellent, I will check that out. Normally I make all my own lines using Fragola components.
