Actually its supposed to be de-mineralized water. Distilled is better than tap water, and under no conditions ever use well water!

50/50 premix doesn't work anyway......
You can't get all the water out the block after flushing.
So you end up with something like 40/60 (antifreeze/water) when using premix.
I always look up the cooling system capacity to figure out how much full strength antifreeze to put in. Top it with water.

Thats fine if you run a stock radiator. Can always mix it a tad stronger as well. Can go as much as 70%coolant with some brands.
That is a very good point. I remember I used to do that when I was young and smart. But then got lazy and have mixed 50/50 and filled it on. But not used to buy premixed.
