2020 Small Block Penalty Box Race Sign Up

-
I should have slips on the 17th and 18th. If we get the car finished for the trip.
We have 9 cars signed up already, working on a printable or workable excel sheet to plug the numbers in and have the racers list sheet made up. Just need to get them up on a host so they can be linked. I need to figure out a formula to make the work sheet better. (formula done)

Also on the worksheet if you plug in the + or - .2 etc it will autosum at the bottom.

Question... if your car is a factory 318 4 barrel, do you still get the .4 penalty?

you spot us NOTHING!!!!!! You'll get to ADD to YOUR ET for the EXTRA weight … :BangHead:
so im a tad confused. So lets say the car runs 17.0 (random number), if it weighs more, it says add .1 per 100 pounds right? so wouldn't that make it 17.9? I probably have this backwards

I think all cars start with the nominal car, 318 2bb, 904, 2.76, 3300 lbs (without driver) at 15.9. If your car weighs 4200 lbs you would add .9 to the 15.9 for the weight putting you at 16.8 if all else was equal.

ok, so the goal would be to run that time, or beat that time? Highest ET win? or Lowest ET win?

Learning, 360 , 904 with 8 1/4 tall 2.78 gears on an 1/8 mile track (George Rays dragstrip) car should be 2.940 lbs .
Looking forward to this year

goal is to go as fast as you can. IF your "dial index" was 16.8, then if you ran a 16.5, you'd be 3 tenths faster than your index. But, you have to go through the entire penalty box, adding or subtracting from your ET (starting with 15.9) for each item. Pretty easy. So you might add for your weight, but have to subtract for a 4bbl, subtract for 3.23 gears, but add again for a 727 tranny. just an example
