Received a letter today from TEN Publishing telling me that Mopar Muscle and Car Craft have both been discontinued. I have been a long time subscriber to both. They are offering digital edition of Hot Rod or Motor Trend and six months of Motor Trend streaming service. Seems like a good trade for my 5 years of subscriptions left. I don't really care much for the digital editions. The hard copy magazines are much easier to read in the bathroom. Lol. OK done complaining.

Dang. 3 months ago i paid for a year and rcvd 1 mag. Would rather have my money back.

Edit...
Looks like I'm ok,

I checked and i get Mopar Action and Chrysler Power mags. Never had Mopar Power.

We won't miss anything. They are all serving to all their sponsors anyway. Much like politicians have turned their backs on their constituents.

Rusty, I can’t agree with you more there. Whitepunkonnitro (uncle tony) and Andy F (maybe not in the same words but from an engineer’s perspective) will tell you the same.

I hate Motor Trend. Its a BMW fanboy rag full of exotic rim, tire and ED ads. I don't need any of those things...:icon_fU:

I used to like collecting the shirts at the Mopar Nats when I renewed my subscriptions each year...

But haven't been there for a few years, luckily I didn't waste money on a subscription recently...

I decided to not renew my MM subscription a couple of years ago - that worked out just fine!

I think the last time I took any magazine was the mid 90s. I saw what they were turning into and Nipped that crap in the bud.

Ive got stacks of MM somewhere but like many of you, I cancelled a few years ago.

Isn't that Geoff Stunkard?
Just saw him on Mecum last week.

I like reading FABO ! If something is new or worth learning or reading one of our Great members will Post it . Those Mags don't reply to you in the same day when asking a questions as well.

As someone else mentioned, online forums are a replacement too the tech advice sections in the magazines. Just like the classified section (either for cars and car parts) in a newspaper are pretty short now since it’s available online (Craigslist or eBay).

I’m surprised the classic car magazines have lasted as long as this. I suppose as folks who prefer reading paper pass away there will be even fewer readers wanting hard copy versions.

I remember in the 90’s thumbing through the Year One catalog (I still have their 1993 copy) and then being mailed an update mid year on new products that weren’t in the catalogue. Now it’s all available on their website in real time and don’t need to wait months to get an update on new products. Technology has made our restorations easier!

I haven't subscribed to a Mopar Magazine in over 10 years. They are usually just E and B-bodies anyhow. The last subscription I had was Hemmings and that's been over 5 years ago. I'd rather stay Gold every year here. Of course we still have our share of Drama here, but what Family don't lol.

MoPar Muscle turned boring many years ago for me, they bugged me forever trying to get me to renew, so I told them one day I thought their mag was lame and they have felt me alone since....I used to get 4 at one time, High Performance MoPar, MoPar Muscle, MoPar Action and MoPar Collectors Guide. MoPar Action was pretty dang good but it’s been years since I seen one...is it even around yet? HPM is gone, now MM...MCG is hit or l miss...sometimes is great and other times it’s lame...they ran my friends burnt orange 70 Challenger a few months back and totally butchered the story from what my friend told them...main reason I renew is because they are at the MoPar show and you get a cool t-shirt...They have photographed many of my friends cars from the show in Minnesota and none of them have been in the magazine yet, one was even photographed six or seven years ago.

According to the linked article, TEN is discontinuing printing 19 of their 22 automotive magazine titles, but all will continue live online. Only Hot Rod, Motor Trend and Four Wheeler will remain in print.
The article says Car Craft was continually published since 1953.
I dropped my Car Craft subscription a few years ago when it seemed it needed a title change to Chevy Craft. I will miss Krass and Bernie.
The print magazine I'm going to miss the most is Street Rodder.
Damn, I'm going to have to put a computer in the bathroom (library)!
I have no interest in either Motor Trend or Four Wheeler.

Mopar muscle was the absolute worst mopar magazine ever. No loss at all, hell this forum alone is light years better than anything they offered.
