[WANTED] Interior leftovers ideas?

I'm looking to cover my homemade speaker boxes I made for our 67 cuda.
Dont wanna use typical speaker carpet. But dont want anything "flashy". I thought I might try factory interior style vinyl. Similar to what was used on the seats, or the door panels.
Anyone got leftovers? Pics? Ideas?

You might hit up an upholstery shop that does restaurant seating or boat seats and see if they have any bulk material left over....

If you want to cover the speakers themselves, you must use material that is sound wave "invisible". This kind of material can be found in stereo/electronic stores. Good luck.

Hobby Lobby, Jo-Ann Fabrics, or similar stores in your area have lots to choose from... plus you get to score bonus points with the Mrs. for actually WANTING to go to the fabric store with her... priceless!

Thanks guys, I was actually at Fabricland this morning lol. Tons of selection. A few different black vinyl with a slight texture, but nothing similar to 67 seat "pattern" so to speak.
Heres pics of some that was there. One with "tread" pattern was actually black, flash turned it brown.
Cool snakeskin! Dont have a duster anymore tho lol

Legendary sells material "pieces" I would contact them if you want something closer to original seat material.

Try find vinyl that is stretchy for sure, much easier to work with. Avoid any kind of heavy duty stuff even if it's free. I used the heavy duty stuff when I worked for the railroad. My job description at one time stated "must be able to weld and sew". No kidding. I did learn a lot about upholstery back then. Lol

If I had a snakeskin duster ida bought it. I like it. I was wondering if Legendary had leftovers. I check their site out and they had good clearance deals on some mopars. I'll call them to see if they have anything.

Not long ago a member showed some temp pleated material that looked very much like our door panels. I think he said it was boat upholstery material. If I ever built a custom center console ( with cup holders, etc..) that is what I would want its sides covered with.

krylon spray truck bed liner, I used it to fix the plastic seat backs in my 71 demon they were all gouged up, sanded them down to get rid of the dry plastic and smooth the gouging, shot a heavy coat let dry for a couple days and sanded them again and a quick respray and the gouging is all gone and they look very close to the original
