Hi,
I am ready to pick a colour for my car and was wondering if anyone has used Dark Titanium Metallic on their A Body? I have seen it on late model challengers but am looking for a picture of it on a dart or similar.

Great color. Love it;. Tie it in with some black or grey accent wheels.

My Dart is painted PPG Punaluu Stone, the color is similar to what you're looking at, here are a couple of pictures for reference.

My opinion, for what it's worth, is if your satin finish wheels are the same color as the car nothing will draw you eye to the car. I believe you need some contrast to make your package work. In my case, I matted the hood and used contrasting titanium wheels to bring out the details of the car.

What is the car colour. Looks great.

Keep in mind very heavy flake paint colors can be difficult to spray for a novice and repairs can be difficult with blending. Most of those colors rely on a flop adjuster if they are solvent based. Doesn't matter who sprays it even factory colors can sometime look a bit blotchy. Otherwise they are great colors when done right.

Also if you decide to pick a color have your mixer show you all of the variants for each color. Sometimes they can have multiple variations and they can be drastic differences.

I certainly could not spray the car myself. Asking for variations is great advice. Thanks

agreed. My silver dart was essentially painted twice.

Everything was base/cleared. The car was assembled. Then everything was wet sanded down, based again, the graphic and pinstripe was added (airbrushed) then everything got a final clear.

Does anyone know whose colour Dark Titanium Metallic is? PPG, HOK, Dupont etc.
