I have a few used ones if interested I'll look for them tomorrow. These are the rectangular ones that go in the top towards the front of the door ? If so I have a few sets

Yes, those are the ones I am looking for. Mine are in good shape, but I have replaced everything else with new stuff, so..

I wasn't a fan of big rims on old cars...but I F'n love what you did to that 'ol girl! That is sweet!
That hood makes the whole look work. I guess there was no chance the rears would fit with the factory overhang? Very well executed.

I resisted the change to the big wheels also, but there was no way those big Alcon brakes were going to fit otherwise. In addition to the rear wheel openings being radiused to eliminate the restrictive factory shape, both front and rear openings were raised one inch to allow the ride height to be lowered. The fender flares are patch panels for a '71 Mustang, and of course the rear wheel wells are all new. All of that allowed for the independent rear suspension with Hammerhead center section. Front suspension is Detroit Speed Alumaframe.

BTW,
I parted two Sixty fives out a couple of yrs ago and have those emblems you seek but I won't be able to get to them till Saturday...I didn't think they were that hard to find but WTH do I know.

Damn your cars SuuuuuWEET and Very Innovative!

Curious on the SW connection and when this project was completed.
I can't take credit for much of the innovation; I just write the checks to the shop, Hot Rod Chassis and Cycle. Stewart Warner furnished all instrumentation, and I was honored to have my car at their booth at SEMA. It really wasn't quite complete at SEMA; remaining items include dyno tuning and setup of the Haltech controller, setup of the Viking active suspension control system, and final chassis tuning, plus a few interior and wiring items.

I have found many of them, but all of the ones I have seen are in worse shape than the ones I have; that's why was curious if there is a reproduction source for them. If that doesn't exist, I will just touch up the black paint and polish the chrome on mine.

there is a set on ebay...best used set ive seen for sale. come in set with road runner horn and one formula s fender badge...all 4 items were under 60 dollars. just saw them a couple of minutes ago

Thanks! I haven't been able to find that on eBay yet, but still looking. You don't have a link to it, do you?

I can't take credit for any of the work this time; way above my talent level. I just write the checks!

I could write them but couldn't back them up...Ill have to check out those 71 Mustang flares.

I know what you mean! I can write the big ones just as easily as the little ones, but when they hit the bank it's another story! The Mustang flares never would have occurred to me; just another example of the guys at the shop having the ingenuity and experience to figure put what works! Kinda like the '47 Ford reproduction headlight trim rings we used that are exactly the same as the stock '65 Barracuda items, except that they are available for less than half the cost--and they are stainless steel to boot!
