Anybody know what this bolt is for?
It was in the bag with bolts and parts from when I removed my steering column.
I can't find anything that looks like it in the exploded view in the FSM. It says MF on the head.
Thank you.

Steering column bolt

The steering column mounts at 3 points under the dash frame. The two closer to the driver are nuts with that same washer, and the 3rd point is that bolt and washer.

They are very specific to the steering column

Looks like a steering column bolt that hold the column up to the dash, the front two are nuts, but the back one is a bolt.

Agree with above comments. That bolt goes into a caged nut. DO NOT cross thread that fecker. I wont ever carry my air ratchet under there again. Point and shoot ruined my day.

Ah, I see. So, the front 2 mounting points are on the studs and the bolt goes in the mount closest to the firewall.

Thanks for the reply.

Yep, and one of the 2 studs gets a ring terminal from a little ground jumper wire with additional nut on top.
