SSBC replacement parts

Do any of you still have your installation instructions for these? I need to pull my left caliber off. Thanks

Instructions to remove the caliper? It's just like any other set of brakes out there, remove a couple bolts and the caliper comes off.

I know that, still would like the instructions for torque and clearance requirements. I have a rubbing spot between the disc and the outboard pad. Thank you for response...

If you know the kit number you can download them from their website. I'm sure it's not the same kit, but mine is the A153 kit if that helps you get started.

Did a search for the SSBC A153 kit, Summit had the instructions on a PDF file, if anyone would like them. Thanks

Also are those Mustang wheel bearings? My outside bearing has small metal grinding pieces in it, I can barely make out the numbers, I think they are M11 949. Thanks

When I had my rotors turned, the shop said they were from a 67 Mustang I believe,

Thanks, had the left side turned yesterday told the parts guy I needed the inboard grease seal for a 67 mustang rotor and it was correct...

Did anyone see anything on SSBC being bought and coming back? Thanks

Thanks, without caliber 67 mustang, the other is the SSBC, the rotor sure looks the same, not sure on the lug spacing. View attachment 1715447434 View attachment 1715447435
Hi
what's the name of the part that holds the brake pads in place? (a piece of it visible at 11 hours on the picture) Looks like I've lost it... I should have 4 of them for my front...

SSBC must be back in business. You can order all the drum-disc conversion kits from Summit Racing. Most have a "special order" status, but the lead time is only 2-3 weeks. I doubt Summit would show that info on their website if it was erroneous. Also, their website is current. I think they changed the name to SSBC-USA. SSBC-USA | American Stopping Power

Hope they’ll fix the quality, this was absolutely new one with the sudden death

I'd avoid them like the plague. The only reason I'd buy anything from them is if I needed replacement parts for a previously installed conversion. They're a perfect example of why buying a conversion based on stock parts like those offered by Dr. Diff is the smart play. Relying on one company for proprietary parts will probably leave you high and dry eventually.

They really left a mess behind. From the Better Business Bureau website:

SSBC-USA, the "new" company starting again in 2020 is really the same owner as last time, the one who went bankrupt in 2019, with the addition of some new guy. Don't be fooled, this is the same company who didn't close their website down and allowed people to keep ordering, even when they knew they weren't going to send out the product. The same company who took people's money and didn't take their calls, ignored their emails, and never gave them one penny of a refund, making customers dispute it with their own banks. The same company who screwed all their workers over when they laid them off and didn't pay them, only now they are located in Elma NY
(About ten miles from previous location - S'cuder). They still haven't given customers any refunds or paid their old employees. They're not going to pay anyone anything, they absolutely refuse to be decent human beings. They think they can sweep everything under the rug and start fresh, leaving their workers behind unpaid, with no explanation, not even an "I'm sorry." This company doesn't deserve to be in business. They DO NOT deserve your business.

I have a buddy who got the SSBC and had issues, he found that mid 90s Thunderbird parts were the same, will check and be sure
