-
I took my 3 yr old daughter to the mall let her get a new stuff animal. She picked out Clifford the dog. For my old lady I got her some chocolate caramel covered marshmallows.

My wife and I don't really do Valentine's day, but I thought I'd send her some flowers at work. she works about five minutes from our house, and I work about 45 minutes from our house. I asked a friend of ours if she could go buy some flowers and deliver them to her at work.

Needless to say my wife was surprised.

My wife both went to the doctor for valentines day!

Specialists in another city an hour away.

We scheduled it that way so we only had to make one trip.

I'll be 52 in 2 weeks, but that sure makes me feel quite a bit older.

We did get to eat in a fairly nice restaurant that they don't have were we live, so that was nice.

I bought mine some flowers
Because I'm a hopeless romantic...and I needed 17 gallons of diesel anyway

Also, our oldest turned 10 today, so valentine's day tends to take a backseat to that

Got Linda some flowers and we went out to eat last night to beat the crowd( so did every one else :) ). Today is also my Birthday so tonight I get Chicken and Home Made Noodles. (My Favorite)

Don't have a sweetie, but I gave my grandsons some $$$'s, and bought my self a new clothes dryer. Does that count?

Nice. Every woman I have ever met loves getting flowers..... Some things in life never change. And this is one of them. I did a dozen myself....

She was welcomed by a bunch of red and white carnations and a card on the kitchen island that i left when i went to work this am when she brought the kids down for breakfast before sending them off to school.

I came home to a crab cake dinner and chocolate cake.

Not mine. Years ago I have her a dozen roses and she said I want a cheeseburger not flowers

My kind of girl TrpleL.... my wife and I had a 2 hour lunch at 5 Guys Burgers on Wednesday because we knew we weren't dumping the kids off on anyone tonight. It's opm now, so they are going to bed. Wife and I will shower and hide in the basement for a few hours... wink wink

I got mine a pack of assorted chocolate covered strawberries.

More car parts coming my way for it. :)

I started the garder for her. Cleaned up all the weeds repaired the drip system. Sprouted a BUNCH of seeds.
Giant sunflowers
Corn
Carrots
Peppers
Basil
Cilantro
Cucumbers
And a few more.

Gotta get a some of it in the ground tomorrow. Spent all day splitting wood so im kinda beat right now.

Tripped on a chunk of bark, tried to stop my fall by grabbing the handle on the wheelbarrow , the dam handle let go and i landed HARD on my bad arm so... now its ice cold beer and relax.....

Yup, same here.
Brought a box of each of her favorites home and gave them to her after going out to dinner last night at our favorite Mexican restaurant.
She insisted she didn't want to waste money on a fancy dinner - would rather have what she really enjoys.
Oh, the See's - a box of dark-chocolate covered mint patties (from our dogs) and a box of dark-chocolate molasses chips from me. I prefer milk chocolate so she knows for sure that these are for only her.
