100% agree ^^ At first my son wanted to document ET slips of time falling. Now we are going to line it up against my Ram. My ram will beat it, then well start making changes till it beats my Ram. Then we'll keep doing this same routine... beats my wife's stang, beats my 318 Duster, beast my son-in laws 'stang, eventually beat my son's scat. We'll video and post every race. Yes, in between it will get to the track and we'll post ET slips.
Well you've b" the story over the bush about 50 times in this thread and we get it... You're going to do it in increments we get it..

So what do you want me to post? It's cold and snowy? Another weather thread LOL...

have you run your wife's satellite with the new hemi?
No, but we ought to, it really needs a converter, and sticky tires. It feels like a good 440. Maybe me and her and our son’s should compete at the strip this summer. Maybe at the strip where we met each other many moons ago.

You do realize, that I had an alert this morning that Sam had quoted me and we were discussing weight of trucks. Your first post here today (1054) was "tar and feather". I just want you to realize that when mud flies, you usually threw the first pie. :)

The 318's probably still got a few miles left in it LOL my death knock started in my 318 in the duster and I still couldn't resist putting a whooping on a little racer on its way to storage one day LOL back before I had a garage and had it in storage...
Well, when I say death knock, I mean it knocked terribly for 12 miles and locked up as I pulled to a stop in our driveway. The old Mopar always got me home.

On the contrary your last weather thread nothing happened! LOL... The most eventful thing was the weather report...
Don't worry the race continues for your opponent..

LOL.. well, my opponent conceded 1 minute into 1-1-20. And he didn't disappear for a year.

He didn't disappear he just hid over in moparts... and don't bring it back up I learned that everybody will just get mad at me! LOL...

1109 posts and you didn’t even wax the truck yet. Come on Summer
Our cold spell snapped today and we hit around 38*, so I did start it up today and let it fully warm up. I also shoveled most of the snow out of the bed and the bed looks rock solid, but still some ice that I couldn't get out with the plastic snow shovel :D . Lights, blinkers, dash lights, wipers, stereo, dome light, back up lights, brake lights all work great. Supposed to be even warmer tomorrow :)

It snowed here today. Suppose to be in the 40s tomorrow. Got my truck back from the shop last night.
They replaced the front cover gasket the water pump the lower radiator hose the thermosat and the by pass hose.
Now it has a low coolant engine code and won't built any pressure in the system.
The hits just keep on rolling.

Sounds like that truck is too nice to cut up.

Clean it up, put a street friendly 360 or SB stroker in it and drive it.

Keep searching for a candidate you can cut up without cringing.

The only cutting I'll do is cutting out some rust spots. For now it is ligher because of the missing metal.

It already has a 5.9 magnum that is running good it just is being a pain in the butt with the cooling system.

I would maybe add some cam and headers and do the intake mods. A stroker would great.

It is a nice driving truck but sometimes the four wheel drive does not engage when you first try.

A 1980 with a bulge Hood and a plastic girl!? Bust out the blades and hack it up...
We aren't going to get crazy and destroy it. Looking for 3500 lbs by itself. Should be able to get there without going Sawzall crazy... lol

You're the one who first mentioned hacksaw blades and stuff to get it light enough to do 10 seconds...
Actually I thought that was the whole reason you were buying a cheap vehicle to begin with was to be able to hack it up...?..

Stick a for sale sign on it for 1500.00 more and maybe some sucker or I mean buyer will grab it. That wouldn’t count against your 5000.00 as that’s just smart horse-trading.

We can always hack with a Sawzall.... no need to till the writings on the wall... :D

I'm confident I could put a decent set of 2nd hand tires on it, pressure wash it and make a good profit on the truck. But, were not selling it, we like it. We have no regrets buying the truck whatsoever. We'd rather go 11.9 in the truck than 10.9 in a Diplomat
