No Mounts anymore?

You cannot just put the 74-78 big block mounts on a stock small block k-member and end up with the engine in the proper place. If that would have been satisfactory Chrysler would not have built and sold the Direct Connection k-member, which is just a modified small block unit. The 74-78 mounts are what Chrysler used with the DC k-member. Check out my videos and make your own.

I didn't think Schumacher manufactured mounts at all.
Even going back 5, 10 years, I would call about mounts and they would tell me they were out of stock and don't expect to receive any until x date.

I recall responding with a, I thought you made those in house?
I definitely remember them telling me they had to order the trans mount.

My last set of mounts from them, I splurged and bought the fancy powder coated brackets with mounts.
By the looks, no way they made and coated them in house, and the passenger bracket bent within 24 seconds.
I bent it back in my wooden vise.

Cheap crap metal. I couldn't bend my original brackets in a steel vise strapped to my bumper.

And I've ranted on before about the junk poly mounts, and the garbage rubber mounts.

.............And once again........Thank YOU!!!

Schumacher is just another example of big boxers selling cheap parts & not offering replacement consumables later on. I tried contacting them via phone & email a while back & still, months later never gotten a response.

Me too

Extra butthole. He showed stock on a set, took my money, and won't answer his phone or respond to my emails.
Yeah, who the heck knows when Schumacher's gonna get stuff back in stock? I've sent multiple emails with zero response. What a butthole.
I hate to hear this I had an outstanding experience with them. I had ordered 73&up slant 6 to 318 mounts then changed my mind and decided to go with a 360 instead this was right around the time last year (or the year before?) Everything started showing out of stock. I called and he had one 360 mount but he only had one side it just so happened it was the side I needed so he shipped it to me free of charge. I mailed him the 318 (left side iirc) back and I was set he didnt even charge me shipping. He seemed really nice and honest on the phone I hate to see a good business gone bad. It does seem that maybe they have gone out of business. Their website is still showing stuff in stock and accepting orders so idk. I'd like the take my brackets (spool type) and blueprint it out and make a couple spares just in case I need another one doesnt looked like where gonna be able to buy them anymore.

What's your solution for early As?

I've never done one, but I would measure drive line angle on a stock small block or slant. Then get a bare block and empty transmission case (easier to work with). Bolt that up to the transmission mount (after flattening the trans tunnel/fire wall seam) and get the same angle and side-to-side offset and make some mounts. or adapters to fit factory mounts.

That is actually my plan. I am going to duplicate the Schumacher mounts using some later big block spool mounts. That way, all I need are the two "C" shaped brackets to bolt it all to the K member. ....but it's a "ways" down the road if it ever happens.

I saved some mount perches from a '96 Dakota, but they aren't the same spacing. I'd probably use those with a custom fabbed mount because that seems easier than fabbing up the saddles.

We appreciate your patience as we transition to our new location.

Our phone lines are currently down, but you can still reach us via email:
Ha!
so, ...your a thriving business, relocating your shop (not a small task, but doesnt take months) and you decide to post this message MONTHS after taking buyers $$, ignoring all emails, all phone calls, leaving every vendor stuck with no inventory and vacating your entire online store???
...NO, I dont think so. Not how it works. 1st thing you do is communicate this up front before ever moving, you re-establish communications ASAP if lost/down (which they never would need to be) and you make every attempt to avoid all of this to begin with...not like a business owner wakes up one monday day and decides to relocate next wed.
I know, we relocated in 2017. It took under 2weeks from the 1st power cord being unplugged - to the full shop, office, admin, staff and productivity fully operational again. Not a single missed/returned call, email, order or upset customer!

100% stall tactic to buy time as he fades out quietly, hoping P/O customers simply move on, vendors write it all off, &/or time runs out to do a CC charge backs.
good luck guys who have gotten shafted. Your waiting has been in vain, time to explore your legal options.

If anyone is needing them for a 70-72 I saw a used pair for sale on the Rockledge/Space coast Florida craigslist. Ad said pick up preferred but is willing to ship. Said they had additional parts as well. They are the B.B. to S.B k-frame.

I bought from them twice since they started showing out of stock on so many items. In both cases I got what I ordered, but it did take a while to get it delivered only 150 miles away. Like a week or two. On one order I had a question, called and left a message, emailed a message, never heard back anything.

The only gripe I had was the shipping. It was about $20 for the heavier item, and I got charged $8 for a set of wiper seals which weigh nothing and came in the same box as the motor mounts. I'm done with them for this reason if for no other. This is a poor business tactic.
