I just wanted to thank each and everyone one of you for all of the help, suggestions, advice, encouragement and assurance over the past 7 months since I got my car; even more so on the past 2 months since I took my car apart.

I know some may get annoyed by my as some could say "basic" questions, but honestly if it weren't for many of you guys in here I'd be even more lost than I already am sometimes. Heck you may get more tonight if a new battery doesn't keep it running haha

So heres a  and:thankyou: for everything the past 7 months and I hope to pick your brains for many more! Just know you're not only getting appreciation and gratitude from me but also my wife and kids! Wife is happy the car is "done" and my kids missed the fun rides.

your wife thinks the car is done?
you did the hard stuff, we're all just sitting around kibitzing :D the car is looking good, enjoy it

Thank YOU for being a contributor yourself not only here but to society.
It is refreshing to see young energy and dedication to your family and your field of study and love of these old cars.

Awesome job!
there are no stupid (or basic) questions, just old grumpy men who think everyone should know & can do - what they used to be able to...
Now go enjoy your wheels, its been well earned!

Thanks everyone! Battery installed and she started right up. I dont remember seeing this red light before though?

Beautiful car!! Now dont try to hook up your medical nitrous tank to her....lol...you did great!!

No wonder it seemed like my lights were better than I remembered lol.

I'm going to do some LEDs up front next so we can see better at night.
They need to move the high beam switch back to the floor on modern cars. I keep getting my foot stuck in the steering wheel. :)

I remember when you were searching for your dream car. Seems like you almost bought a tan/bronze colored one?

Then you found this one with a slew of extra parts! It was fun watching your 'Dartin' for Divorce' thread and seeing each new project come together. Your colorful commentary kept the reading fun. And...the fact that you're not afraid to jump in and tackle anything!! Yeah, you broke a couple of things along the way, but we all do!! We learn (sometimes) not to do that again, lol.

Congrats!! It's a great looking car (I love the look with the hubcaps!). I know you'll enjoy cruising around with the fam!

Doc,

You inspire all of us!

Now get that steering coupler fixed! :poke:

Steering coupler? You mean find a console steering column :p and replace it when I install the 727 and floor shifter... Camshaft, lifters, timing chain and radiator first! Damn to many fun projects!

Yea I was looking at a bronze one with a /6 and a Vert /6. Honestly I am so glad I went with this one, it's been such a fun and exciting learning experience. I can't be scared to tackle anything since I'm poor, and I enjoy it (except when everything is failing) plus it keeps me from spending my money on drugs and alcohol (shoot that's probably cheper!). I actually talked to the guy I purchased this one from and he still has a bunch of parts that he said I can come and get like new chrome trim, badges, at other gts parts. Maybe he has the steering column with a steering coupler? haha

I loved your threads! Learned a little too!

Thanks and not to worry I am sure I will ask a bunch more questions soon once I start tearing into something else that is way over my head again . Or maybe by that time I will find out where @70aarcuda lives and he will make sure I don't mess anyting up.... Or I will give him a bunch of grey hair from my stupidity.
