Arbodies has a complete kit if anyone wants to install one. Saw it on there when I ordered some adjustable braces for the aluminum dash I put in my 72 sat.

The black car is just how i was thinking it should be done. Longacre adjustable strut rods and 040 aluminum.
I would pop rivet it to the trunk lid, the holes are smaller than nutcert holes by a mile.

My wing is the pro stock, drag race style.
I copied the shape from that black pro stock dart. (Fastest leafspring car at one point.) Honestly if you want to do it, just do it. No one else is paying for the car and it nothing a little welding cant fix.
I actually had a guy stop at a show and lecture me about cutting up my car, he went on and on how i screwed up a perfectly good car. I responded with " I don't recall asking you to stop or asking for your opinion. You can just keep walking."
:)

Here's the setup from arbodies or a place to order parts from, great people have to call and talk to someone to order, friendly people.

It all depends on how the rest of the car is done. In your very first picture, it looks beyond stupid. Wheel covers on the stock wheels with stock tires. If you want a real opinion, show us the different styles on the car as it is going to be. As long as everything else on the car matches, it will look ok. I say ok because it's not my cup of tea. But so what? It's not my car. Do what makes you happy with it, but unless all the other accents on the car match with the same common direction, you won't pull it off. Look at the one in post #26. I'm not even a fan of wings, but that looks pretty good, because the rest of the car MATCHES.

It’s your car, do with it what you please. My opinion on things like this is they always “look” better when they are functional. Meaning the rest of the car is being used in a way that now can benefit from some rear downforce and a spoiler is needed. FWIW there are a lot of very fast road race cars that have no aero at all. And some body styles (s2000 Honda for example) that at 100 mph loose all mechanical grip and benefit greatly from a well designed spoiler. Are you in Search of more grip at speed? Or is it for looks?

I say experiment, find what you like and go for it. Don't like it? throw it away and start again. I sheet of 4 x8 mild 18 ga., costs what $50-60?
This stuff can always be changed , put back to oem, etc.

This looks great. I wonder if this wing in particular is available somewhere.

Not sure but the kits or parts I posted up aren't badly priced and be cool to see on a dart or duster. Be cool for road course or street and they offer aluminum or plexiglass options

have you checked out what @Cope did with his car?
(i think it was him)
It fits your car. I say go big or go home. I would do a pro stock style, not nearly as high as your design. At least 6” out from the body with adjusters down below. It’s tour car, build it how you want it.
