72 Demon seat wire

So I was thinking I had to replace my passenger seat belt because of some other reason.... When I finally got the belt off I saw a set of wires connected to it. Then I looked at my driver's side and they are not there. Then I noticed another set of wires under the whole front seat.
Can anyone shed some light on what these are intended for? I looked at the wiring diagram and couldn't find these anywhere

Thank you, I was thinking the same thing but since I couldn't find it on the wiring diagram...I wasn't sure.

Do you know if it's just those two locations? Is driver side suppose to have the wires also?

I believe the drivers side would also, not 100% sure. But in either case, those would be the only two.

is the seat belt light suppose to turn off when clipped in? Guess what is the wires detecting?

IIRC, the switch is at the retractor - turns off light when reel is extended minimum amount. Was hoping someone had some documentation. I can't find the details in the 72 factory literature.
