I have been doing research . i have an a body left manifold 340/360 i am going to use in my kids dart i am having trouble finding a center dump that matches the left side outlet about 2.25 inches did they make them? it is cheaper to but tti headers than being forced to buy a pair of TA style exhaust manifolds. i have a rt side center dump 340/360 but is only 2 inches maybe a little smaller. maybe on a stock engine it wont matter but seems like the same is a best idea
Thanks Bill

If you're not completely set on a center dump manifold, a magnum passenger side manifold works and fits well, but is rear exit. Plus they're dirt cheap at the pick'n'pulls.

You said "center dump"..........even the 2 1/4" 340 passenger manifold doesn't dump in the center, it kicks back at an angle. The passenger 318 manifold (1 5/8") and the 70s 340 passenger manifold (1 7/8") are center dump but I know of no other "passenger" manifold that is center dump AND two inch diameter. You'd save money buying a 96/97/98 Jeep Grand Cherokee passenger's manifold (2 1/8)...however it is not center dump but it does have great clearance!!

yeah i think it is a 2 inch center dump i have i will remeasure and post image. this web site is complicated., hope i can post photo

Some truck manifolds were center dump. Not sure if they came bigger than 2" though.

Here is a right and left hand 70s 340 exhaust manifold set. The "center dump" (bottom one) is 1 7/8" exit hole. All other 340 manifolds are 2 1/4".

the 96/97/98 Jeep Grand Cherokee passenger manifold (9376 casting #) is 2 1/8" exit hole and will fit perfectly in your car, it's also way cheaper than a 340 large hole manifold although it is not center dump:

yes that is the center dump i have. i will just use the magnum rt manifold i would buy a swoop one but frik spendy. i have a 2001 magnum 318 for his dart 82k on it from his moms work van that was crashed. will the left work in the a body ? probability not

Click "upload photos" It should take you to your photo file. Choose the photo you want and click on it. It should load it. If it doesn't it may be too big. You may have to reduce the resolution settings on your camera and reshoot the photo. You can also reduce the photo size in "Paint" on your Windows laptop or a photo reduction program on the internet.

I like your choice of "disinfectant"...!

Left MAY work, depends on a couple of things. Power steering? Nope. Manual steering? Maybe, but takes some trimming of the column collar and a touch of grinding on the manifold. Some guys had to resort to replacing the coupler with a u-joint to gain the necessary clearance. Each car is different, your results may vary.

The driver side magnum won’t work without at least some kind of modification as the professor has stated. I’d stay away from it and go with the 340/360 you have.
The passenger side magnum manifold is the best way to go with the least restriction and plenty of working space....also allows easy plug access....unless you go with headers which will limit any space you had.

You see that little diamond shaped casting on the 9376 manifold. The one I just picked up today actually is a hole. A pipe was attached to it. I think it must have been for an EGR valve? I figure I'll just block it with a piece of metal.
Any idea or thoughts on what it is for?

I don't know what happened on that last message I sent. Anyway any idea what the diamond shaped casting on the 9376 manifold is for? Mine is an actual hole that had a tube bolted to it. I never bothered to see where it went to, I think maybe an EGR valve?

It's an exhaust gas recirculation port. I used to manufacture a 3/16" plate to cover the hole.
