So I have a 1971 Dart swinger with this kind of speedo. Can any one tell me where I can find another one like this one? All I seem to find are way different.
Speedometer. Everything else in the cluster/dash works fineAre you in need of the speedometer, out of the housing or an entire cluster
68 up it's a press on cable. Send to speedometer shop. Light oil inside slip ring is probably dried out causing needle to stick and not return to zero if that's the issue. You may be able to remove the speedometer from the cluster yourself, and carefully clean and re oil it with light sewing machine oil to free it up so it zeroes out.Does your speedo have press on cable or screw on cable?

It won’t return to zero or even give me a good read on how fast I’m movingJust out of curiosity, what is the issue with the speedo? Is it not moving or is it 20 mph off?

Is that what my gauge cluster is considered? Dart Custom?Go to eBay and search for "Dart Custom Gauge Cluster"
I saw 2 of those just a few minutes ago. $175 to $225
I would be down to go that route as well. Is it a hard thing to fix?Repair the old one.
My swinger has that cluster. It is a standard cluster. It is a non-rallye dash.Is that what my gauge cluster is considered? Dart Custom?
That’s what I thought but every where only offers this gauge for saleMy swinger has that cluster. It is a standard cluster. It is a non-rallye dash.
Obviously not the right one. From a Valiant possibly? Or a B body car?
True but that’s what I keep finding when I look under dodgeThe application says Plymouth. You have a Dodge.
Just swapped out the cable thinking the was the problem.A speedo/gauge shop can run your speedo, make repairs, lube and calibrate for under $200. Check your cable while your at it.
