My wife is "temp" laid off, the unemployment she's getting, while something, is not very close to what she was making. We don't qualify for any of the stimulus money, we are just going to ride it out and hope they reopen her office sooner rather than later.
Well I might be wrong, but thought currently if you were on state unemployment, you'd also got a $600 weekly additional pay from the feds.

That's what I thought too, mentioned that to wife yesterday and she's looking into it. Unemployment securities called her work, got the amount of money she was making and based the weekly amount she's getting on that. I need to figure out what she's got going, I would think if she's not drawing unemployment she would be eligible.

That's about where I was with my Suburban once the 6 inch springs went in. When I had the driveshaft lengthened I had the yoke beefed up at the transfer case end, 1350 I think. So it will be a new driveshaft for you?
Something like this.

It has a 4 bolt flange at transmission, should be pretty straight forward.
Will put weight on back end and get diff pointed before i measure. Then i can weld spring perches on.

Your U joints will appreciate that. I guess just make sure your oil is going to be getting to the pinion bearings, not sure how much angle you'll have there and probably some designs are more tolerant of that than others.

No you get the federal $$ in addition to the state unemployment

I was just on the Washington State unemployment site, looks like the extra $600 per week is to start in Mid April...."we are working as fast as we can to implement the CARES act"..... Thanks!

Cheryl has been working from home. I hear a lot of conference call from the office...how does she get any "work" done I'm not sure. I guess that's how it is.
She heard the dryer buzzer sound the other day. I was in the middle of doing something and she came out and folded that load.
A couple days ago I fired up the 55 for a drive. As I sat there in the garage warming it up she appeared at the garage door. "where ya going" she asked. Told her I was doing the weekly 30 minute drive, it was a warm sunny day. She comes out and jumps in announcing she is "on my lunch break".
I'm liking it so far. She seems a lot less stressed working from home.
