Received my Headlight Relay Kit from @crackedback today. I can tell it is made with high quality stuff. Can't wait to see the results...but more importantly, get current away from the headlight switch. I'll post before and after pictures.

I need to add...he includes a pdf of 9 (that's Nine) printed pages of instruction!

I can't see it being that difficult, but the step by step is there for folks who like that.

just got my kit yesterday, gonna put it in today, very happy with the quality .

thanks cracked .

Finished the installation of Crackback's Headlight Relay Kit tonight.

Here are before and after pictures. You can clearly see the difference on the red toolbox. Both were on low beam.

Thanks for the purchases and have a happy memorial day... BBQ your tails off! :)

Sorry to those that have been delayed in getting kits out to you. I got knocked off a ladder about 2 months ago and was messed up pretty good. The ground hurts when falling from altitude.

I hope to be caught up by next week some time. Appreciate the patience and I have materials to build kits.

Thanks Rob

The ladder deal messed me up for a good while. All better now.

Got materials to make kits. Thanks for the purchases and let me know if I can help with any other items like vert top and wire around kits.

Rob

Hi Rob,

Will these work with an American Autowire classic update kit? Thx! Glad you are feeling better! JB

@Justinhb

I can certainly work with you to integrate relays into the AAW kit that you have. I have done it before with Francis and Painless kits. Figure out where you want to mount relays, how the power is distributed in the compartment and we can go from there. With a fresh set up, I'd suggest placing a buss point with clean power somewhere in the bay for accessory power. Simple to do.

No extra charge for integration, just part of the service side of things for building it how you need it.

Rob

Got materials coming in to build kits. Thanks to everyone that purchased one.

Stay safe and healthy out there!!!!

What are these wire around kits I hear about?

@340mouse

The charging wire around is a 6 or 8ga wire that attaches at the alternator and terminates at your starter relay. It removes most of the charge load from your bulkhead. I had a thread on them somewhere. If I find it I will send you a PM with a link.

Please PM me as well. Thx!

135 for 2 headlight
160 for a 4 headlight

Pretty much the same, my cost have gone up a bunch though. Haven't passed that through.

Very good. There was a question asked wwwaaayyyy back in the thread about connecting to the starter relay rather than the alternator stud, but I didn't see an answer. Is this possible?

Also,shipping to Canada was $15..is this still a good number? What would shipping to, say, Blaine WA, 98230 be? Thanks Rob...sorry for all the questions.
