Jim's Machine Shop in Redwood City has done a cylinder head and some drums and disks for me. Very reasonable prices and seems to know his stuff. Kind of a little hole in the wall space. Not sure what their full range of services is.

I am bringing my 68 that is for sale, also have a buddy bringing a Redeye Hellcat and a Hemi powered Model A. See you there!

@Jim Lusk

Nice to see you in Madera. I think you stopped by our swap, we were on the very end with the silver dodge cummins. Couldn't make it today, I was working at the Farmers Market in Mountain View selling free range chicken and eggs from a 200 acre ranch out in Hollister.

I think I bought the #9 Hot Wheels from you for my grandson. Tried to spend some time around my car and time to see the show. Turnout seemed only so-so...

Yes sir that was us! My buddy Chris was the older guy. He's a good friend :)

I thought the show and swap was a little light... I'll be at fall fling.

Yup, show seemed a lot light. We won't be making the club meeting tomorrow night so I won't know the numbers, yet. The lack of old iron is hurting the show, in my opinion. I don't have a problem with the newer stuff adding to the numbers, but without the old stuff it's just not as interesting to as many people.

Anyone in the south bay happen to have a master cylinder pushrod retainer o-ring? Just got a new MC for my car and they didn't include one. Trying to get the MC swapped this weekend.

I've used vacuum hose in the past.

My friend Brian ended up having a couple of them. But when we went to put the new MC in, there was no stepped bore to hold the retainer o-ring. Fortunately, my car is so low mileage that the dust boot is in perfect condition, so it will hold the pushrod in place.

is anyone still active on this thread? Just wondering who is around here and which part of the bay? I'm in the East Bay

Hi Joey

Not much happening in the Bay Area right now (obviously). But most of these peeps are still around. I'm in Menlo Park. Photo from a road trip.

Fairfield here. Still kicking but I haven't worked on the Dart in over a year. Been working on other non A-body projects.

Fresno here. Got the 440 running in my '67 Barracuda convertible last week. Working on that and a '73 340/4sp 'cuda for a local guy. I could finish up the '73 next week if I could get all the parts. It's a pretty nice car that had been cobbled together in some areas by a previous owner or restoration "expert"...got it running, rebuilt both door window regulators, alternator bracket kit, fresh rallye dash gauges, shifter tighten up, a bit of electrical work, and a few other things. Should be ready to rock and roll soon.
