helped my nephew install a bar on his ricer
ok, it wasnt a bar, it was a spoiler but hey, it sure looks like a bar

he showed up last nite at about 11, but you know how guys get excited so we started drilling holes then, only to find out the bolts that came with it were to short

so he came back around 10 this morning only to find out the guy at the hardware store sold him some 1/4-28s instead on M6s

so, third time is the charm

I know what is wrong with it...I drained it, pulled the pan a the lip seal on the rear servo is dangling in the bore....

Son of a b.........damn
I can't change that in the car.....want to throw a brick at it......
Well That totally sucks....

I have a bad back....it really takes the life outta me....
I know that feeling all to well.... As well as bad knees, now.... Oh and just so we are on the same side..lol
The Medical System sucks azz unless you have a boatload of money !!!!!

Got my clear coat sprayed today. Looks good to me. There is some rough spots I thought about going over and sanding but I'm terrified to cut thru the color and have to start over. I put a second coat on it and I kinda wish I would have stopped at one. It had alot more shine and gloss to it with just one. I'm guessing it will have to be cut and sprayed a third time. Or I could just leave it like it is lol it looks good enough to set an engine in haha this is the first coat I will post the 2nd coat in a separate message

Better do it before it gets to Hot.... You know how NV can be !!!!! :)

Yes it does get hot here in the summer, heck its 92 degrees out today and supposed to be 105 on Thursday. I drive my car during the summer though, usually just on Fridays to school and close by the house on the weekends. If I ever fix my A/C it wouldn't be bad at all to drive it everyday though.

Spent the afternoon fine tuning the window adjustments. You're damn if you think I'm breaking 48 yr old glass. Lol

Finished polishing and installing the stainless trim around my back glass.
Just a tip here, I put little strips of tape on the glass where ever the clips are. This way when you lay the trim in place you can tell exactly where to press on the trim to get it to snap into place. Cause once you lay the trim in place you cant see where the clips are.
So for the first time in 10 years or so, I finally have all the trim on the car.

Looks great you can come do mine when your done lol

I'm using a 1970 Plymouth shop manual on a 1972 Dart. 99% is spot on in the FSM so no biggie. Ill probably have another 6 hrs tweaking it even better. Then I start the driver side next.

I went out to put up the flag and realized after many years of use both of the flags i have are faded and ripped. So i did something i probably should of done years ago. My dad died 36 years ago when i was 25 he was in the army in ww2 and when he was buried the veterans flag that was on his casket was folded and handed to me. Its been in the garage in a plastic bag all these years and never been unfolded. I had to make a longer pole for it sine it was twi and e as big as my old ones. 5'x12'. Then instead of working on the dart i washed and detailed my wife's suburban. After coming in and eating dinner i couldn't not do something on the dart.
