Yes, Eugene has limited sight and I am posting for him. Please excuse my way of responding to posts,

Hey Webby,

As far as I know there was not a power wire and lighter socket in a 69 console. Theres a hole with a chrome wilkie button snapped over it where lighter socket would be. From what I know theres only a shift indicator light harness. I have an OEM one for my sons car. I patterned my repop ones i made off this part.

1969 A body shift indicator light harness with single orange power feed wire that runs across the lower dash frame from the fuse box. These harnesses were manufactured by me with new wire, new correct ends, lengths, color coding. I have one left. $90 shipped

Thanks
Matt

I got one from Matt.
As always his work is great quality and meticulous attention paid to the details. I'm sorting all my wiring harnesses out now and can't wait to put in this console harness, along with all the other new harnesses I've gotten so far.

The routing is the question, but yes, just orange and black in 69. The black grounds behind the right kick panel to the A pillar and there should be a connector under the right kick for the harness connection from the right dash area. The harness as I saw In mine was taped down to the floor pan on the right in a couple spots and over to the console. The tape used seemed the same as what you find on the lower door vapor seal. Mine was seemingly entrapped in some black seam sealer as well. Best pic I took it seems. It does not come straight down the middle for sure!

Found this pic as well. Seems there is ground wire from the dash harness that also ties to this location. blower ground? I forget but the Pic was prior to laying the console harness. It was Originally run on the path of the red Line and was taped and also Seated in the Seam sealer at the trans/firewall intersection.
