Dip stick tube and fuel pump blocking plate

Can’t seem to get my dip stick tube to go in straight because of the fuel block off plate on the 360 magnum any one else run into this/have a solution

You can see it doesn’t go in quiet straight and that’s with a bolt without a lock washer or anything

You need to get a tubing bender & tweak the tub around the button head fastener. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT try to bend it while it's in the block, you will crack the tube or it will break.

FYI: Magnum 5.9 blocks do not have a provision for full pumps. Yours in a LA 360 block. However, demonracer has the answer to your issue. Good luck.

I can’t remember what year exactly but some I think 2 years had a fuel pump added and the la timing cover is the same size
