What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Option A
Option C looks like caps off a laundry soap bottle glued on to a piece of plastic.

I’m a fan of option “C”. More of an old school clean look I think.

right now I'm leaning towards option C, because it does have that 70s street car vibe to it

it doesn't hurt that that's the one the wife prefers too

I like option C the best, option A & B reminds me of a 65 shelby mustang too much, option C fits a Mopar better in my opinion.

Today I drove my car about 70 miles. I pushed it hard and wrung it out on the curves. With my drivetrain I just about have to use the gearvendors\904 like a 5 speed splitting second and third. My little 273 likes to be 2200 rpm and up to be happy. No bottom end but if you keep it between 2500\3000 she's happy. 80 MPH is 3000 rpm and she's just waking up. Drop the hammer and the AVS2 starts making power. I think I am done dicking with my Barracuda. Driving time!

So does that mean I have 3 accelerater pumps?

After being in primer for a couple weeks, I finally shot the engine bay with color today. Putting front suspension back in is next....long way to go!

Drilled 4 1/8" holes in the hood for the scoops to actually work. Ordered the rubber gaskets to fit in the holes. Tried to install gaskets in the flange from the headers but I bought the wrong size, thinking the pipes at the back end are 2 1/2" so the front end would be the same. Nope they are 3", back to parts store.

"Two Fours"

Carbs have Eyes, Nose, and Mouth, optimistically wanting to get into the game.

Enjoy . . .

Replacing my mechanical oil pressure gauge with an electric one with sending unit. Every time I turn around I'm spending money on this damn car!

I did some detail painting I've been wanting to do for years but never took the time. Thanks Covid, for the lay-off... although I'd rather be working.

I couldn't make out words on the pushbuttons.

Black was nearly all gone from the fender emblem.

...and now the Barracuda has its ocean back!

And here is a quick mock up of the upper end goodies as things are coming together this evening on this 318.

What am I doing with my car today? ******* nothing! My daughter and I went on a nice cruise last night and about 2 miles from home my right rear tire blew out! It was brand ******* new! Now it will take a week to get a new one in.

At least it didnt wreck the rim or the quarter panel. Maybe I'll go find that damn exhaust leak.

waiting on U_P_ to get off of their Ss so I can redo the fuel return (I'm putting a crush washer in just to be sure) and installing some new gauges
