A833, A904 or ?

We are tying to figure out what transmission we have.

History unknown on 67 Barracuda FB. Fisher tag shows it as a 273 HP 4bl, 4 speed
Someone put in a 360 4bl

2 questions
What transmission do we have? We’ve been told A833 or A994 by local auto parts store. What markings tell you what tranny?

We took off duck tape on rear end someone had wrapped around and popped the rear seal off. The picture looks like another seal behind it (see marked picture) Is a double seal possible?

Some A-Body 4 speeds in 67 used a smaller, 904 size output shaft and seal.

Is there a shifter sticking out of the floor hump? lol.

It's a manual, and Ima thinking A745 top loader, or maybe the weaker A903

What you have circled is the tailshaft bushing. Looks like some one put a gash in it when prying the rear seal out. It's 66/7 A-body A833 with the smaller 26 spline output shaft.
