...Hey Meatball..lol... @pittsburghracer would give you a great run for your money I'm sure and definitely take it as well.... Much closer than Portland...
Why? You the wisecrack. I be in Eugene anyways. Don't track race. Hate it. My junk must scare you??? I will scatter parts to win. No worries here... LMAO

is this still going on?? you guys have way to much free time
Look up post 379 and 380 he's answering himself LOL... he doesn't even need us...
his comprehension is next to zero... I was talking to and quoting Pittsburgh yet he takes everything to heart for himself...
I think "meatball" is spot on... LOL..

Hey Meatball you better stick to picking on kids with their Dads car at the McDonald’s parking lot.
It depends on who's kid he's picking on , I know a few dads that have some pretty fast cars. Doesn't your son drive yours. lol

Yeah don't waste money coating pistons for nitrous heat. Don't dissipate any heat whatsoever. Mist a fire injection only way to fly spraying alot of nitrous. True that... Just get the ole check book ready. Gotta pay to play hardball-

Corrected...lol..
Here's a 925 hp little mopar 410.

My point exactly. You need a large oil pan with many oiling mods to make anywhere close to that power.

He knew he was cornered within the first couple pages here LOL he's been ducking and running for cover ever since. Instead of answering any technical questions about his 8 or 9 Grand reving motor he's been trying to turn this into some kind of showdown that ain't going to happen..
He's picked me the well admitted slowest stroker on the internet and I just added AC LOL.. knock on wood I have a perfect driving record and I don't race on the street... I think he needs to just stick to his Street outlaw stuff LOL....

Oh I got a 8 qt milodon. 2 filter moroso relocation kit.Melling hv pump. Windage tray and internal oiling mods. And yeah that's 1 of my kid's toys. 40 g in it. I could buy it? We got connections and many friends around the world. Wait til I show you what I'm doing to scamp. My motor in living room wasn't completed lol... You will see. No worries Mr jpar. My junk runs. Duster gonna bust 9's when we done. Yeah talk cheap. Pics lie. That why seeing in person is only way. See ya in May. I'm gonna be there regardless. Hopefully we can meet up. I may be an arrogant bragging ahole but I can build a hotrod and motors. Bet on that. I'm not a bad guy. Just a little unique. Have a good wknd. I got wrenching to do-

You right. I got that covered. You can bet I'm no idiot. Engine builders do not give all out. Why you think they make big bucks? If everyone knew secrets they wouldn't be in business. Think about it. Ask any shop or real builder. Daaah... LMAO Speed and hp EXPENSIVE.....

I didn't pick you. You was just the biggest wise***. I'm not afraid to race whoever. Been beat before and that's just racing. Dad here been sick 10+ years. My kids just happy I'm out again. The video I posted was first ride I took with son in many moons. It was awesome for us both. Got my blood pumping racing again. And yeah track racing stinks. Too many rules-

Yeah well we lack good builders here. I like to learn and share knowledge with others because at the end of the day we are all meat sacks throwing ourselves into forged ore hotrods. Too many people want to be secretive in this and it actually hurts more than it helps. This goes out to others and not just you. You want to keep this hobby alive you need interest in it. You want to make someone so frustrated that they leave and go to electric hot rods or another brands? Without money coming in to make new parts, better heads, r&d then this hobby will die along with every "secret". Sorry for rant. Just how I've been feeling about why the hot rod market has been slowly dying...

It ain't no secret, some tricks maybe.
If you can read, can use tools, you can build an engine capable of any horsepower you want.
Quality machine work is all you need.
There are decades of recipes

EXACTLY. There are no secrets. The few guys who have made power at 8000 and above have all posted how they did it. I’ve posted how I did it.

You’d think the dude was Jason Line or something. It takes a pan with some volume, the biggest suction side tube you can get (and that’s probably still not too big as a dual pickup is even better), get the oil leaks stopped, correct the oil timing and it will turn 10k if you have the wallet and the balls to do it.

Which reminds me...it’s not only oiling that is the road block to high RPM horsepower in the SBM. It’s that retarded 59 degree lifter bank angle.

My reliable limit was about 8800. And that took Ti valves, 340-360 on the seat, double tapered pushrods (which during 1999-2000 was unheard of in anything but Comp or Pro Stock) and constant effort to keep up on all that ****.

The springs were checked every 10-12 runs (and that wasn’t enough), the pan came off with no more than 50 runs on it to get a look at the rod bearings (when I first got my crap back together the pan came off after every day at the track so I could verify what was going on) and that was over and above clutch maintainance , magneto maintainence, fuel system...you get the picture.

There are many who claim to make power that high but I doubt most of them.

Well just look at 59 degree!

Now add an offset rocker to that dumpster fire and you’ll see how half assed reliable high RPM power is to make and live.

It’s not for the weak stomach crowd. It’s a steep learning curve, and like you said above, the few doing it were very tight lipped about how to make one live. Had I not bought an engine that was already doing it, my learning curve would have been vertical.

Had I listened to the dude I bought it from, I would have made more power quicker much more reliably.
