Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning!
Tornado on friday night in western manitoba. Claimed the lives of 2 18 year olds. Appears they drove on to a field into the path of the tornado and it picked up the vehicle. Lots of destruction.
ouch

That summer we spent in Brandon, I don't even recall any rain until early October. Father came home from his job on a slip-form concrete grain silo and said "Pack up the kids. We're outa here." Apparently it was raining at ground level and snowing at the top of the silo.

Yesterday was the opening of deer season here, so 1 little rain storm should be in the immediate future. After that comes the heat and the Santa Ana winds until Holiday Season :realcrazy:

Was just watching a 8 point trimming an apple tree. Didn’t know the season would start that soon

Surprised you can still hunt in Cali. No protesters about the lead bullets? I went salmon fishing there off the coast. I was amazed at the trolling weight weighed three pounds of lead, and when the fish was hooked it dropped off. Was very surprised you could do that.

The California Condors know better than to eat those big balls of lead at the bottom of the sea

Hi Mike, hows the shack coming along?
Close to being done. Waiting for a few more roofing panels and trim. I took the vines down yesterday. As far as I could reach with a 10' step ladder. LOL

As soon as the sun made it's appearance in the east, the gunfire began on the ranch land across the highway. Aside for a couple of ranches, the occasional oil rig, and one little community, it's nothing but scrub oak all the way to the beach from here. The deer love that private property .

Two cups down. Time to get ready for brekkie. Then back onto projects.

Good Morning All! Yesterday ended up being a swap meet/Costco/Commissary day, so today in the shop! Nothing exciting, like tornadoes here, holy cow!

Garry's Scamp. He took a nap on the lights but I think this is the first time behind the lights with the line lock and trans brake. I think he needs to chip it up a notch. I think it's leaving around 3500 r's.
