I went to the local Show & Shine and hung out with some car guys....small show, maybe 3 dozen cars but it was fun...
Now I'm gonna take care of some small electrical issues - grounds.
Easy fun stuff!

On my 70 Swinger 340, I have the engine bay painted and the stock type manual master cylinder leaked ,ruining my "new Paint" I am cleaning the area up,getting ready to touch up. I purchased an Upgrade Wilwood master cylinder to replace that original unit. I will never use the stock 1970 type again..iahve seen it too many times, if the stock unit doesnt leak on the out side,it is eating away at the floor paint under the carpet.

Was going to take her out for a drive, but then I realized it's 96 degrees out. Too hot for an old car with no a/c. Maybe this evening after it cools off.

Bought a new car today. Blew my budget on it. $0.79 But it has a Hemi behind the rear seats. :)

Took the Golden Oldie and the Wedgie out for a couple photos yesterday. This picture was taken at my buddy's workplace. I refer to this as "the pallets of Auburn Hills" (if you're from southeastern Michigan you'll get the pun).

Finally fixed my nagging brake problem on the D100 project. The booster pin was misadjusted causing my low pedal. Nice to have good brakes again.

Re-set my cooling fans to see how it would affect my engine temperature. Temps would get to 194*-199* in traffic and on the hwy. Had them set to come on with the key. Now temps only get to 176* in traffic and 188* on the hwy. Engine is 360/414 small block. Fans are from a 1997 Ford Contour V6, radiator is a 26" Champion, car is a '71 Duster.

Put my suspension back on car as I am taking to shop to have new headliner installed by an old pro! Almost as old as myself !
I am removing the chinese disc brakes on rear. I couldn't get parking brake to work properly, and have Dr Diff rear setup to install.
I'm going to sell these real cheap soon.
I'm sure they will work for someone that has the time and skill to figure out parking brake system.

Took the "S" Badges off to try and buff them out, didnt work, they are gone. That was after I came home from work (5ish), hung 2 ceiling fans and replaced the dryer belt...some days are better than others. Im must hit them with some heavy sandpaper to get back some of the 'grain' around the perimeter and figure out what I can do with the "S" portion as its pitted. Possibly fill and apply a mylar chrome cover, cut to fit.

Try to find a H-I-T and you'll be all set for a new logo for the trunk. Wait for it........ You will get it shortly. Lol

Cut the left side out and got the wheelhouse done yesterday/day before. The bed side was cleaner than the right side was, but the inner/outer wheel houses were worse.
