Consistantly 100 degrees daily

It's been so Hot Down here. Come to Florida for a season. Tell us if you still like the Heat. Spend 15 minutes in the garage and your soaking wet. No fun.:poke:

Hot!? Be careful of the topcoat, even with slowest reducer it can cure too fast.

Heat?
It ain't the temp that will kill ya its the humidity!!! And lack of wind.

Sweat and water cools ya of! And IF no wind, you will just mold!!!! LOL

RRR has AC IN the shop!!!! I might call him a pussy, but he might drive from Ga to Tx just to kick my old ***!!!? And a radio!!! WTH

Been one heck of a summer here in the northeast. High humidity along with the heat. I still get stuff done. After work I just put on my junk shoes and white tank top. I'm soaked with sweat after a few minutes but I get 'em done.

Your in Rode Island?
Your in New England!
However a scant 30 miles away on Long Island in the North East, it ain’t really no different!

I'm absolutely loving the hot days. I have made more progress on the valiant in the last two weeks of consistent 100 degrees, than i have some whole winters.

Its sad we only get a few months a year of really hot days. I function the best in the heat and I have a ton of energy. I love summer so much.

When you can power wash an engine and a half hour later it's bone dry is a good day. Paints, glues, body fillers and everything works better in the heat.

Cars start easier and get to temperature really fast....I love it, I love it all

Hope you all are having decent summers considering all the bad stuff going on around us.
OMG. YOU are definitely a misplaced Floridian. Come get you some of this! Try MONTHS of hundred degree ****. Gets old. The oppressive humidity...... Funny, the older I get the more I like the cold. My wife is more like you. She thinks anything below 70 is cold.

Suppose to be 113 and 115 this weekend in Vegas.....you know that is dry heat.....leave tool lying out in the sun...lol

Been an above average summer here, lots of hot days. This is the longest my ac in the shop has been left running. Lots of days 80-90 % humidity.

speaking of stereos, i have to have tunes or i would lose my mind. Without them it wanders.

and guitar. I tried, wife inherited a nice ibanez, every time i pick it up, it needs tuning and the locks are a pain in the butt. Floyd Rose tremolo is the reason it goes wonky. I put it away 5 years ago and never tried again. Think an easier to play guitar would help.

USUALLY LIKE THAT HERE , BUT HAVE HAD SOME 80`S TO LOW 90`S WITH HI HUMIDITY THO-

It's been mostly in the low 100s here for the last several weeks. But next week we get a change. Next Tuesday it is supposed to be 110.

Look up at the big thermometer above the door at Kathryn's Landing on Lake Mohave 117°. Oh yeah, that's why we camp on the lake. Only a 20' walk to cool off . Did my time in the desert, got the opportunity and jetted from there. The desert still fascinates me, just don't want to live in it anymore.

I love the heat. I grew up in Florida and have always been an outside person. I used to go outside in the summer when I was working, just to warm up.

Or black cast iron sewer pipe , even black A B S , will get soft and bend/warp bad out there if not laying flat..

Heck , I still do , it feels great till u get soaked .

Yeah, we've been getting the muggy summer this year haven't we.
Sappin the strength outta me good. Can’t get jack done. Just doing it one inch at a time. Once this breaks a good bit, I will actually get back up to speed. I work overnights. So, I’m gettin killed outside in the sun. I will do a little car work or landscaping around the house. Call it quiets around 11am.

I do a little in the morning and a little in the evening. In between its some work in the house followed by a mid day siesta catch up. These 88*+ days with the high humidity grinds me down quick. Not like when I was in my 30’s.

Wife says my blood thinner and that huge Statin pill makes me hotter. Routine: Go out side and work on car whatever hair and shirt quickly soaked in sweat, hose off my hair, come inside to AC and sit in front of fan till dry everywhere. Repeat. Repeat> Repeat!! etc etc etc .................................................................Time for supper.
I sweat off 5 lbs daily and gain it back at supper and ice cream!!!

A question for all you folks posting 100 plus temps.

Just what is the humidity where you're at?

The difference here between 80 and 90 percent is insane.

80% actually feels refreshing and invigoration, even if the temp is 95 or above.

Not only has it been hot on this side of the state but we have also been dealing with this. This fire is about 18 miles north of my house and is at about 60,000 Acres right now and is the 6th largest in the State history. They're really having a hard time with it. There's another fire 90 miles up the road in the Glenwood Canyon that has had I-70 shut down for 4 days now that was causing a big mess.
Here has been the high 90's low 100's but the humidity is only around 10 to 15% so if nothing like down south or back east. It is a dry heat which is a big difference.

I am opposite after we get above 80 with the high humidity here I cannot do anything in the garage after working in it all day. Just going to the mailbox makes your shirt wet with sweat.

Yuck! I can't wait till fall, dew points above 65 suck ***!

The weather tonight said the dewpoint is supposed to drop into the low 60`s percent range here and cool off a few degrees after tomorrow is over /

did someone say sweaty construction workers?

Me and my kid play that on the Wii, 'Just Dance'....I never seen the video....and ...now I have.
It was 102 here today at 65% humidity and my A/C is out in my truck, I was cooking. 6 hours working in a sidewalk vault, no shade.
