Plymouth Weslake Indianapolis V-8 Racing Engine | Auburn Fall 2020 | RM Auctions

Don't know. Didn't see any after-auction prices.

I guess you have to create an account to see results.
Yuck, another user name, password, blah, blah, blah.

whos gonna run 8000 RPM for 3 hours here? Slide injectors, brilliant! Probably a dog under 5000 RPM. Good luck.

PS>> Make sure you heat the oil to 180F before starting that motor...that's how they (STP) destroyed 1 (and a second when they didnt clean out the oil cooler of the first disaster) before a race! Oil pump failure using cold oil.

Well that was a waste.
Nothing from the Bill Atkin auction is list as still for sale.
But no price is shown for this item.
Maybe later they will update it.

Those Weslake V8s were known for falling short on the top end. Ports too small.

Probably someone with bigger balls than most of us.
Regarding low rpm operation, its a raceengine gear accordingly and let that thing sing!

Its still a piece of mopar history . No different than spending 100k on a show car you never drive.

I got the results, it sold for less than that complete TA motor sold for on the board a couple of weeks ago.
