Morning men ,happy Friday , woke up this morning outside has real bad smoke in the air from the fire in Oregon it’s brutal choking even , you all have a safe day and even better weekend, cheers

Was a busy day. Went shopping at several places and now the credit card is panting LOL
Built a new cover for the a/c as that is all shut down now, won't need it anymore this year.
I'd hoped to get the 300 cleaned up but didn't happen so maybe tomorrow.
Out for 8:30 tomorrow to work on the Cuda. Still not happy with the way it's performing.
Had to put jeans on today and put a jacket on but right after lunch the shorts were back on. Cool overnight but warms up nicely in the daytime.
Our thoughts go out to all the people who died on 9/11. A sad day in history!

Good news gentlemen , wife is home. They took out the stent for dialysis . She feels good. Thank you all for your support during these trying times .:)

All kidding aside, that's great that she's home. She was one sick lady there for a while. It sure shows you how much you love and appreciate someone when they are sick.

well the front band adjustment is a square head 5/16 and might have gotten a 11/32 socket on it in a 12 point but didn't have one so to make it work on the torque wrench I welded the open end wrench to a socket and it worked. Can you say Mickey Mouse...

Did you drive her after adjusting? Did it make a difference?
Haven't been on the road yet tranny filter will be here tomorrow and I think the gasket sealer for the tranny pan has to sit for 12 hours before I put fluid in.
Sunday I should be on the road.
New windshield came in today and hopping to put that in tomorrow.

Looks like a decent day today so will get the 300 cleaned up, in bad need of it.
Then off to the stores and fill the fridge for this week. Does anyone use the Flipp App on their phone? I do all the time and save a lot of money. If you don't have it try it you'll like it.
No I don't have the app, but I do ad items on flip for you!!!!

Working on the tranny in the scamp adjusting the bands and changing the oil in the gear vendor over drive. Never adjusted bands before but would rather do it myself and learn.
Front band usually 72in lbs then turn out ,1 1/2 , or some wear around there there will be the correct spec , rear a little tougher drop the pan adjustment in there , same idea 72in lbs back out 2 Turns I think then lock that nut done . Please check how many turns by spec .
