I have a 416 stroker that my engine builder ran on dyno with E3 46 plugs.
It just looks like another gimick to me, but maybe I'm wrong?
Would like to hear from members with direct experience with them.
Thanks.

There was a member on here a while back that swore by them??

It sure as HELL wasn't me. I tried them in an 08 Jeep Wrangler I had and they gave that thing fits. You know how a bad lockup converter can make it feel like you running over rumble strips? That's what this did. Soon as I put the stock Champeens back in, it cleared right up. Course that was computerized so that may have made a difference. I don't like any of "those type" plugs. Splitfire, E3 all that.

I never knew that you worked on "puterized" cars???

The problem with having three gaps in parallel is that only one will break down on each firing. (The voltage across an arc is very much lower than the peak required to create that arc). Once one of them fires, the other two are just along for the ride. You could argue that they actually get in the way of the flame kernel formation...
The only advantage I could think of (other than snake oil advertising) is that there are three points instead of one, so the normal wear should be tripled.

My partner's grandson met us the races close to his home years back & he was bragging on how the E 3 plugs had made his Mustang faster. I told him to get a set for the Dakota & we would try them out. I bet him $10.00 that there would be no difference in the truck. He showed up the next day with the plugs, I made sure that they were correct before installing them. I pulled the plugs in the truck making sure to keep them in order. My partner took the truck up to the lanes & made a pass, the 60' time was .02 slower, along with all of the other incremental times. We agreed to make a second pass on the plugs just to make sure with almost identical results. I pulled the E 3 s, put the other plugs back in, made 2 passes & the truck was back to it's normal consistent times. My partner told his grandson to pay up & he could take the fast plugs home with him. He learned a lesson that cost him $10.00, & I've never let him forget it.

The E 3 plugs are faster!!!! People chunk them faster than any other plug......:steering:

Another gimmick. Remember the last revolutionary sparkplug the "splitfire".

Hey, I have an idea. If two gaps are bad, and three gaps are good, then wouldn't 4 gaps be great?
LOL
Just kidding. I tried them in my 340 several years ago, and threw them away almost immediately. IMHO you can't beat plain old Autolites.

Let's get some slick50, nology wires, Jacob's, heath kit this and that...**** its just a striker for christs sake .lol

Don't forget chrome valve covers add 10HP for small blocks and 20 for big blocks.
