Any one using Jeff Johnson's billet fab valve covers?

-
I'm not using them since I'm not a fan of the fab style valve cover. I do like solid billet valve covers though since you can have them made just the way you want them. That is what I did for my Duster project.

Bad ***..I am considering that efi setup..

Please pm me how fast my wallet needs to go to get a set

Not knocking his valve covers, he is calling his bent and welded covers billet, I notice it a lot lately from different companies. Do people not realize that's not what billet means, didn't this used to be called fabricated? Is it just a fancy word to throw around to get more buyers, like tactical?

Yeah I think Jeff's stuff is a sheet metal valve cover with a billet rail although I'm not even sure I'd call the rail billet. It is probably laser cut bar stock. I did true billet valve covers for a while but they are super expensive to make. The vendor who I was talking to about production builds went out of business so that killed the deal. If you have a Chevy engine you can buy billet valve covers from Summit but nobody that I'm aware of makes them for Mopar engines. I do have the CAD files to make them but I don't think the market is big enough to justify the investment.

As far as I know. Maybe we i can get a deal if he does multiple sets.

I talked to Ron. they are $575 for the pair, black anodized, breathers are $70 and caps are $30. Engraving is free. Depending on how may we get we can get a discount.

If people want some i'll get a set too.

Let me know

Are they in stock ready to ship?

He has one set that says Roadrunner on them ready to go (he has a Roadrunner). He is going to make a bunch of sets in the next few weeks. I'll ask about small block ones. Oh also if we buy a few sets he will give us a discount, $50 I think he said.

Thanks

Garth

that would be great. If he can keep them bare no anodizing to keep costs down I’m good with that. I prefer raw aluminum anyway.

Yes he is making small block ones, probably in a few weeks. You would be one of one of the first people with them.

How can I contact them? They won't answer their phone or emails.

I just call 604 534 0100. He is a friend of mine so I may get preference, he is also a one man show now.

All I get is ring ring ring and a answering machine that says leave a message which I do. Nobody is returning calls.
