What’s the best rebuild kit for the 6190 holly carburetor, And where should I get it from? The last couple times I’ve gotten stuff at the local auto parts store it’s not the right item I need. Is it better to order the carb kit online somewhere? I’ve noticed that it’s not a carb number that they list, The kit must work for 10 other different carburetors.. Also, isn’t this a 650 vacuum secondary carb?
your opinions??!

Are you sure you are looking at the list number, and not the four digit manufacture date? I cant find that list number in my holley list either. Can you post pics? The LIST-XXXX-x is the carb i.d. number. A four (or three, for an old,old carb) digit number under it, is the build date.

Yep, any quality 4160 carb kit will cover that carb, it is the most common-as-dirt holley carb ever made.
I have been very happy with Jegs brand carb kits, i used three of them recently.

Okay Thanks. I have not rebuilt a carburetor in the past 12 years or so, but it has been 20 years since I think I put a kit in a Holley 4bbl carb .
