I was driving down the road the other day and found a beautiful 68 valiant at a great price. It's a 318 with headers, dual exhaust, a couple MSD parts. Allegedly cammed, but having never driven a 318 I can't tell. There's clearly a vacuum leak so it's running a little wonky. I know nothing about mopar, looking forward to soaking up the info in the forum. Thanks in advance.

Welcome from Kansas. Cool car. It's got the right number of doors, and you CANNOT beet that F8 Green color!

Welcome from WA state.

If you think you have a vacuum leak and cannot see anything obvious, get some carb cleaner and spray it lightly around the carb and vacuum lines (one at a time), if the engine speeds up you found your leak.

I may have a big cam in it and no vacuum leak! Meh, probably not. Most obvious place is the carb gasket, then start pulling and plugging vacuum hoses. Welcome.

Welcome to the site, and don't be bashful about the questions.

Nice car, BTW. I love the dark green!
