Yea I thought it was 7-8 as well, then I looked up a calculator to convert it. Because @Tooljunkie said for me to be more exact instead of guestimating lol.

He's right. I think all that matters is that's it's "tight" with all the slack out of the band. That's all you're really after.

Our pup Winston has had a rough couple of days, the bump in his mouth has double to tripled in size since Friday. We have been giving him some pain medication that he had left over from when he was neutered.

Today the vet also called and the results of the biopsy showed he has Oral Melanoma, and by the rate of growth the Vet said its most likely spread to his chest. He also said that surgery was not really an option especially with how fast its growing. I'm taking him tomorrow evening to the vets office for him to go to doggy heaven.

We will always love you Winny...

So sad to read this Doc, but it is most important that you do what is in Winston's best interests. About the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Never gets any easier but I'll never regret sharing my home and heart with my furry kids.
:(

I'm so sorry for you. One if the worst things in life is putting down your best friend. Mine was 14-1/2 and had to put him down on Christmas Eve a couple years ago. Just awful...still is. Prayers for you and the family.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh ****. So sorry to hear this. This is a heartbreak. Having to say goodbye to your furry family members sucks every way there is. Via Con Dios, Winston.

Yea its rough, we haven't told the kids yet, but they have been making comments about him needing to go to doggy heaven. My wife has been crying a lot since we found out, she feels like she has been mean to him because she gets annoyed with him.

He hasn't been wanting to eat his dog food, but last night and tonight I made him some ribeyes and he has been loving them.

Kinda like his last meal.
My buddy did the same for his dog, it pretty much quit eating, he got up extra early every morning and cooked breakfast for the dog.
The dog did not last but a few days after that, but at least the pooch was happy.

Been a long couple of days. We did manage to make it out to the gun store and then to the gas station for some snacks on the way home.

Hey buddy...that's really terrible to hear. Most of us have been there I think and it's no fun for sure. You're doing the right thing...it's about quality of life at this point. Lost my 4 legged best friend a couple years ago. She was the best friend a man could have and we still miss her terribly but it had to be done. Chin up.

So sorry to hear this. As many have said, our furry friends are really our furry family. God speed.

I feel your pain. Just awful. So sorry.

Yea it was a pretty rough day. The kids still cry every day for him. He is in a much better place now though, he had a rough last couple of days. 8yrs we had him, we got him for our son when they were both babies.

My wife and kids are already saying we need another goldendoodle.

Hopefully this shows up because its funny!!!/QUOTE]

This past Sunday wife and I went to a Mexican restaurant to eat. A young guy employee was hanging out in the lobby with the young, hot hostess.

When he saw my Mopar T-shirt he says "you're a Mopar guy...you have to see this video" and pulls out his phone to show me that video. He was very courteous though and said "there's some foul language in it"!!

Funny stuff and a great salesman!

My favorite parts are the mustang jokes. My wife asked me whats a mustang got to do with it... I had to inform her of all the mustang stupidity. I watched a video of a mustang owner run himself over trying to do a burn out last night

She comes from a family who likes mustangs....

I thought you only had 1... its still comical though, seeing all the mustang owners trashing their cars trying to show off. It probably happens with all makes of cars but you see it more online with mustangs.
I've had probably 7 or 8 Mustangs, mostly fox bodies, but the latest one was a 2013 GT convertible. They are extremely popular, fast, and reasonably priced, especially compared to most Mopars.

I have a 66 and an 84 anniversary, Mustang week is a gathering of most of the total dumbasses that own Mustangs, I also have 2 Mopars now, so Im only half ***

My step-grandpa was a Ford guy thru and thru. He was really into the 40-50s convertibles. I remember asking him why he doesn’t have any mustangs. He said he bought a 67 mustang GT for 50$ and it was the worst driving car he’d ever owned
