Stop in for a cup of coffee

And you drove from Alberta to get to Milwaukee! LOL That's a long haul for sure.
(and then all the way back home)
I was living in Winnipeg at the time, but still a real long haul, over 5200 miles if memory serves. Had zero problems with the Dart, one of the best vacations I have ever had, except for my wife at the time. She tried really hard to make me miserable, no chance, way too much eye candy and fantastic people.

I had a guy come up here from Chicago for a private pistol class. Part of the negotiations for payment was he had to bring beef sandwiches! Nothing better than a Eyetalian beef sandwich from Chicago washed down with some Shiner. I ate two of them complete with peppers. I was stuffed.

You should have them bring some pizza and BBQ ribs also... A couple more of Chicago's greats....

OK, I showed her the ad. She looked at it and said I'd rather see you get your dream car first....awww lucky me!!

Before I got the Swinger for my brat, a friend of mine mentions he has the perfect car for her View attachment 1715634165
I was tempted, she did say she wanted something different. Then reality set in . :wtf: are you thinking? A Tri Power 389 Pontiac 4 speed with 10" Cragars and N50s for a 16 year old girl? Are you nucking futz?

I have got to do some research on those Falcon main engines returning to earth. The stage separation isn't like the Atlas, that was obvious. The Falcon just leaves and flies away, Main burn is a minute plus. Wait a few minutes, engine re-ignites for landing at 5000'? SONIC BOOM! Then it lands. Frickin' amazing. :steering:

We talked a few minutes, waiting on a call back. Think he had an order to ship.

Doing passenger side first, so i dont have to look at my mistakes every time i get in truck.

Almost thinking i need to find some plastic flies to stick in the clear coat...

Notice the remnants of the frost shield on the window. Im leaving that...

I'm feeling pretty good about the way these came out. Used the wet method. Probably best, since it was my first. Moving on to grille and blast/paint bumper brackets, maybe get those on tomorrow.

Getting close to the end of the day. Got 3 outa four blasted. One more tomorrow. And paint. Get the bumpers assembled tomorrow, and get the grille in

Oh, the call with the fargo parts guy was interesting. He was kind of thrilled that i have tax numbers and can accept credit cards. The part about having a large storage building was icing on the cake..

I think my 360s hurt! I was checking compression and cylinder #7 shows a max of 70, #5 reads 120. And as of recent its been idling funny. It pops and backfires then dies. I squirted some oil to see if it would change but it didn't. My battery also ran low so its charging.
