Stop in for a cup of coffee

And most people under 20 would not know what that perk pot is.
Last summer, the 13 year old grandson went with us to a doctor's appointment.
In the corner, on a small table, was an old (1960-70's) dial phone. It was on display.
He walked over looked at it and asked me what it was.
I told him a telephone, and the puzzled look on his face.
I showed him how it worked and explained you walked as long as the cord allowed.
Then I started naming off the things we didn't have growing up, microwave ovens, computers, cell phones, color tv, cable (three channels on a good day), video games, etc..
It prompted a long discussion all the way home.

We have the good ol' Mr. Coffee. I like the way it works. If you pour 6 cups in you get 6 cups of coffee out. My Mother in law has a Bunn and the last water is what you get out the next time. OK if you fill it up and turn it off. But then it isn't instant coffee as designed. The water has to heat up to boiling first. If you leave the heater on 4 or 5 cups of water will evaporate overnight antd your first pot is only 6 cups or so. (bang head) Sorry for the rant and thanks for listening! LOL

Good morning Sunday MOPAR worshippers. Service will begin just as soon as you're seated with a fresh cup of coffee.
Don't worry you won't need a mask, social distance, or wash your hands. Hmm, hand washing we'd better leave that option on the board for some of you.
Anyway, have no fear, we are free Moparians, the government cannot sensor our service today, OR shut down this house of MOPAR worship...well maybe Joey and TMM can.
Feel safe here as we are one big family pursuing faith and fellowship in our MOPAR world...Amen:D and pass the coffee.
