Looks like JJ's trailer caught fire Heavy and Heifer burnt.

Never heard of um but that's gotta suck bad.

If you can't beat em, burn em down! Hope they were insured. 65'

Yeah it smells a little fishy, my first thought is after so many runs on one of those chassis and motors and transmission stuff just wears out and patching it back together isn't always the best way to do it so if it's well insured it might just catch fire not my style but it sure wouldn't surprise me.

Wheel bearings and dragging brakes on those trailers are pretty bad for causing fires. The axle can reach 900+ degrees when a bearing goes out and anything nearby gets lit up.

Toss in fuel vapor, lithium batteries and some other stuff and it happens that way too.

Anything those guys do - and I mean all of them on that show - is gonna be suspect. We all know why.

Hindsight is 2020 and I don't know much about their finances, but if I had that type of money wrapped up in equipment in a trailer maybe a fire suppression system might be a good idea.

Didn't they roll their trailer a while back and spread your s*** all over the place?

Well speak for yourself because I don't know why. I've never seen any of those shows. Not one.

I wish they would bring Pinks back. That was a pretty good show although I wasn't fond of Rich Christensen the host.

Have you ever been on a drag racing track? I'll assume so. You know those guys who always show up late with the loudest mouths, flashiest wads of cash, most expensive parts, and no real visible means of obtaining all that stuff? That's them.

JJ always hauls his cars on an open trailer. The picture posted on that link looks like he ran off the road and cars went flying. I don't see any evidence of a fire in that picture.
Good grief Here's JJ standing next to a burned up enclosed trailer

I read somewhere a while back that JJ owned a roofing company.

The photo of the wrecked cars was from a few years back, JJ went to sleep and yes the cars were on an open trailer.

Click on the link in the first post to see the burnt cars that were in an enclosed trailer.

I don't care for the show or the circus that goes with it but I do hate to see him and Goad lose their cars and equipment that way.

One picture refers to a comment made about a previous wreck. See the picture, see the comment. Simple.

Im sorry his stuff burned, but i have zero respect for him as a racer. The way he runs a street race is the worst way possible, in order for his team to cheat gullible racers who want to be on tv.
If i had a car fast enough to be competitive in street racing, i would never, EVER race under his dumbass rules, and i dont think much of those that do.

Campers burn down all the time, and it barely makes the area local news. Same causes. fuel, a leak, brakes, wheel bearings. In a motor home, add other stuff I don't think much of this crew what little I've seen. There are LOTS of these "reality" shows I call "fake drama" gets old really fast.

It's more about the hustle than the race.

What worries me more is the way they get his wife in those cars. Most of the time they put a pillow behind her back. A couple years ago she wrecked and in the in car video she bounced around like a ping pong ball. Years ago she wrecked at George Rays because she couldn't sit back and reach the pedals. When it was time to slow down she pulled herself up using the steering wheel. The problem was she yanked the wheel and it caused her to wreck
