Here is a link with some cool stuff....they also talk about car #25 which was the first 67 prototype built, I wonder if the car I posted above is that car?

Thats very cool There is pictures of that still in the UK. Surprised it only had the 7 1/4" I thought they all had the 8 3/4" SG? Maybe it was only the '68's and '69's?

The 8 3/4 rear was an option, 7 1/4 SG was standard on 65-67 273 Commndo cars

Looks like a good car you have to restore, can’t be many like it and will look sweet when done, very interesting too learning the history of these RHD cars!!

Maybe it was just the UK 68-69 Barracudas that had the 8 3/4" SG? Every single one Ive came across over here (including a FB I had had them) There was a total of 650 RHD Barracuda's built for the UK Market. Those SG's sure kept people over here busy swapping them over to LHD cars. :D Rare as Hens Teeth now though.

Supposedly 1 of 5 Convertibles built for '69. Ones known to be crushed, two are back in the US and this is the other one left in the UK. Made £18,000 at auction this summer on a really obscure auction site. Wonder what it would have made on a more popular site like ebay? Even with that horrific paint and interior. :D

Selling your 69 already on eBay?

I have to sell one of my cars unfortunately. :( Been a very tough year for me and its not looking any better for 2021. Im really torn about having to sell the Barracuda but Ive put a lot of blood sweat and tears into my Valiant Charger. Plus a lot of money that Im not sure I'd get back. Ive set the price somewhat high and the wife is happy its on the market, so thats one thing. If it does not sell Im sure we'll struggle through. I'll know if it does sell I'll be kicking myself for years and years letting it go.

We'll see how things pan out.

Ive gotta sell one of my cars and both are on the market. The Valiant Charger is a niche market, the Barracuda certainly has had a lot more interest.

Drop me a PM if you're seriously interested and we can discuss further.

Anyone know the mfg. of the steering gear?
Ever see it on any other cars?
Id have to check but Im sure its the same as all the other RHD Mopar stuff, Ie same as the Aussie and South African cars. Easily sourced from Oz. The green car in my avatar has had a full rebuild here in Scotland with Aussie parts.

I have one down here in Texas as well. Green interior and exterior. I've been lugging it around for 25 years and am just about to get it running.
