Looks like JJ's trailer caught fire Heavy and Heifer burnt.

It's the "hustle" (another word for cheat) that offends me.
At least the oklahoma bunch races to see who's faster, jj's reason for street racing is to take other racers money, by con, steal and lie. (If either of those supposedly "fat" cars weighs an ounce over 3000 lbs, I'll eat it with a dull spoon!)

I loved Street outlaws!!! didn't miss a episode. When JJ became Street outlaws.............I just can't stomach it.
I tried again this year because i was told, a couple racers i know was going to be on it. Just can't stand it. removed it from my DVR recording list.

Seems like a pretty nice guy in person. Was at Barona last year and had the kids do a running drag race on the track. Gave my 12 year old a signed $20 for it.

It's more about the hustle than the race.

What worries me more is the way they get his wife in those cars. Most of the time they put a pillow behind her back. A couple years ago she wrecked and in the in car video she bounced around like a ping pong ball. Years ago she wrecked at George Rays because she couldn't sit back and reach the pedals. When it was time to slow down she pulled herself up using the steering wheel. The problem was she yanked the wheel and it caused her to wreck
Regardless of the thoughts on the show I liked "Ole Heavy"

At least on the JJ Memphis Street outlaws there are some cars that actually resemble street cars, the original Street outlaws is nothing but pro mod top dollar race cars they have no resemblance to street cars at all.

Exactly, the first couple of seasons of Street Outlaws were good. The cars were relatable. Then the show evolved in the same direction as the fast and the furious and just became far fetched and I don't mean the pokemon either.

If you raced on the streets long enough, even the nicest people you'd ever race have a hustle going on. There are all sorts of things that happen that may be so under the covers, you'd never know unless you were inside the VERY small circle.

I know that there were times people would be betting against the favorite and have a ton of cash up. Like a 1K race with 10K in side money flying. Guess who lost and they KNEW they were going to lose before the race ever started. Crap like that happens a lot. Hand over 1K and make 10K by forgetting to turn the bottle on or whatever. Click it off at half track, etc. It just shut off...

I drove a car for a friend that was scared to death of the thing. 68 Camaro with a 427, and 2 kits. High nine car in the mid 80's that was a handful to drive cause it liked to go left on shifts. A full lane left. So we always raced on a street that was 3 lanes+ wide. I was using 2 of them... There was a guy that knew where we were racing that night and drizzled trans fluid in the lane I wasn't going to be in. I didn't know and found out later. Guy I ran was pissed. Reran him anyways and took him two more times cause I was sandbagging it. He was still pissed over the first deal.

It's the game with no real rules and turning the odds in your favor, just like vegas. Line it up and take your chances.

Yep, sometimes it's square but most of the time everybody's looking for the advantage. I remember one night a couple of guys pulled up in a Black Laguna valley boys polo shirts and all, asked if we'd be interested in racing I looked at my friend and smiled oh we got a couple live ones I said. But they seemed a little too confident they said okay we'll be right back and they returned in a 71 slick bearing 455 HO race gas guzzling dual quad tunnel ram, trans am they said okay let's go ! Ended up being the fastest car in town for quite a while.

Its TV folks....Discovery Network spreads the $$$ around. Nobody is getting cheated. Those cars and trailers are bought with TV money. The producers push the storyline. Pro wrestling with wheels.....nothing more.

I don't mind watching the show, but his "arm drop" is bullsh*t. The use of the flashlight was consistent.

Saw a video on You Boob last night. It was the "new" Ol' Heavy and some other Chevy II they just bought. He was showing the damage to those then went in the shop to show off the other cars.

I like it when my friend Cory in his Green monster races JJ .He puts ole Heavy on the trailer.

He was like he is b4 the show.He use to argue with my friends all the time.Just like Farmtruck. He was out there b4 the show.Hes a good sportsman.
I have to give him that, he does seem to be a good sportsman. Some of those guys cry and whine worse than a two year old! When he has attitude, you can tell it's for the hustle. Big Chief had an inflated head issue when that show got big.

My group of guys got to the task force was fixin to bust us and the next few days we got a guy calling us wanting to get everyone together they wanted to do a story on racing.Limpy thought it was a bust and Okc took it.Hence street outlaws.wgmhy does okc have top 10?Cause we had them get a top ten .If you were in the top ten you could race in a cash days. Then we would invite out of towners to come and compete.

The mustang/out on you aka daddy Dave and Barefoot Ronnie. This was back when you could look up Cash days and see us racing. We had 1320 video come a film us now hes big!

I get a kick outta Ronnie! There was one episode where everything "pissed him off!". Literally every other sentence fragment was that pissses me off. He looks like the type of guy you could hang out with, until you pissed him off!

I have a real hard time following your conversations. Maybe it’s just me.
