I am seriously considering ordering that Lincoln 250 amp stick welder. Paying with Paypal would give me buyer protection and I'd get my money back if it was a scam. Lookin at what all they have for 99 bucks leads me to believe it's too good to be true. Maybe some new older models? Anyway, check the link out. If I decide to order, I'll keep yall informed.

Welder shop

Too good to be true usually is....trust your spidey senses and make sure you are fully protected.

Yeah, I know. But dammit, I've always wanted one of those welders. They are dang near indestructible and they weld like a big dawg. If I use Paypal, I'll be ok.

Try and order a pair of their safety glasses first!! 1.75 is a deal for a pair of glasses lol if they ship it then move on up. I'd rather be out 2 bucks that 100! I

Look on Craigslist... I see used ones for $100 bucks all the time.
Buy 'Murican! :usflag:

Holy crap......If that's legit, you should buy one of each! A brand name plasma goes for 2 grand. I'm guessing horseshit!

Do what you want, but I have a feeling that if you order this, they'll create a shipping label that will stay in perpetual "in transit".
Real easy to do if it comes from China.
As long as it stays that way, PayPal won't refund your money.
After a while, it'll time out and you're still screwed.
I hate that I know this info.

I did it once before for an air fryer I bought for Kitty. Same kinda deal. Same suspiciousness. Paypal got my money right back. We'll see.

SAT, SUN, HOLIDAY IS CLOSED
First red flag for me is misspelled words and piss poor grammar, never mind each unit is $99.00. Scam I'd say.

Total scam site!!! I was taken on a very similar looking site and sadly, I didnt get my money back. Payed through Paypal with my credit card, thinking I was double protected. I even disputed with credit card company and all. No luck! All because they provided a legit UPS overnight tracking number somehow. BUYER BEWARE!!! I Highly suggest you dont!

Jewelry cabinet for the wife.
They kept contact with me for the 1st couple months. I filed with paypal, the seller kept appealing saying the item was in transit, blah, blah, blah.
Then the 6 month time frame hit and I was screwed.
The good thing is that I paid paypal with my Visa card.
They (Visa) did credit my account, but man did that become a hassle.

I don't see where it says "Lincoln" anywhere. Be honest with yourself, if you trusted that outfit, would you have posted on here about it?
At 61, I don't run like I used to, but I'd run from that!

Notice the currencies they list.
U.S. dollars
Euros
The Pound

I'm not saying that these alleged Lincoln welders were made in England, but including GBP as a currency is awfully suspicious.

I'm surprised they don't have ocean front property for sale...
If you can get you're money back, you'll only be out aggravation for dealing with it.

It says Lincoln in the add and you can see it printed on the welders in the pictures......still though, I'm sure it's a scam.

I'm pretty good at looking companies up. There is no info on this one but if you are determined, like said above, get something inexpensive first as a test. But that may be part of the grift as well to spend more later.

Oh yeah, I see the "Lincoln" now. Even more reason not to believe it!
I'd do as said above, save a search on Craigslist.

Just go read the return policy. I browsed a little, they arent in the welder business, they are in the sell business.

It's a scam. Don't do it! I saw all sorts of misspellings and missing words when looking at their terms of agreement. Your spidy sense is trying to save you from a lot of aggravation. Listen to it. Steve

Where’s the phone number to call? And just what search did you do to have that site come up? You know that if that welder is actually in the US it is likely in some unmarked shithole old warehouse building in a hellhole industrial area stacked to the rafters with tons of other fake product run by a couple of non-Americans.....if you’re lucky! You are nuts!:realcrazy: :poke:No way in hell it’s authentic Lincoln brand. And if you actually did receive it, plug it in someone else’s garage unless you need the insurance money:rofl:

4.Abuse of return policy

If the customer is too dense, frequent or repeated return, the mall will prohibit the account from purchasing the right to purchase the goods as appropriate.

Copied and pasted from the return policy, gotta love it when the company calls the customer "too dense". ROFLMAO
:rofl::rofl:

Those look like the welders they sell at Home Depot. Still made by Lincoln, but to HD's price point. So Lincoln cheaps out on the internals to meet the price point.

I don't know about the stick welder you're looking at, but the MIGs use plastic pulleys instead of metal, plastic bushings instead of bronze, etc.

Like somebody above said, look on Craigslist for an older, real Lincoln stick welder. You'll find one for the money you want to spend,, and it will be the indestructible machine you're looking for.
