Sandin A/C and compact P/S pump brackets

Are you selling the Hemi A/C brackets too?

why Yes, I am. They have been on my silver Duster and a dozen others for over a decade. I do not advertise them, I would have to get 4 times what I ask for them to actually make them profitable.

Have you come up with a PS bracket that clears the battery tray yet? Can you post a list of parts that would be needed other than the bracket? I believe it would be:
power steering pump and custom pressure line,
3 pulleys (crank, water pump and power steering),
custom AC lines (2?)
If I bought brackets, can you supply the source and part numbers for the other pieces that don't have to be fabricated (which I think is just the PS and AC lines)?

Thanks for the info, I'm really excited about this!!!!

It seems that the issue about protecting the compressor and clutch could be easily resolved with a shield between the bottom Radiator support and the K-frame?

sure...I can supply source and numbers of the components. The only thing I have not finished up was the belt # and the custom A/C lines.....I plan on that with the final install. Priorities!

I do have a P/S bracket to go with the battery tray.
The A/C lines are too custom and I always make mine up per application.

Hello Denny,
Do you think any of the brackets would work on a 66' Dart, Non-P/S ,using the early model water pump(driver side inlet) on a 72' 318? Thanks, Rob.

I have a 69 340 with lower water pump hose on drivers side. Manual steering. Will your AC bracket work?

My 340 has the same left side lower hose as yours. I bought Denny's bracket and plan on changing the water pump and the radiator nipple location to the right side to give the AC pump room.

Thanks for the info.....nothing beats input from those who have already been there.

I moved my A/C mock -up assembly yesterday....lightweight compared to the boat anchor OEM piece. Wish I could loose weight and look good that easy.

Can you use the Sanden 508 with your Bracket? I don't see where you mentioned what type of Compressor you are using.

If the 508 will work, I'll take one if still available!

Denny you are truly a master fabricator!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge...

@HemiDenny I bought these brackets from you years ago when you offered them. I am finally in the process of changing the radiator and water pump to a 70 from my stock 67 setup in my barracuda. Do you have part numbers, brands, whatever for the power steering pump and A/C compressor? I already bought CVF pulleys you recommended. Do you know if my stock alternator and power steering bracket and pump will work on the 1970 water pump with the hose on the passenger side? For now I am not ready to invest in doing full A/C setup (compressor, condensor, filter dryer, lines, etc.) but I want to put in the new radiator and water pump. If I need to buy the new PS pump and use your brackets to make it all work now, I will.

Any info you can share is appreciated!

and what about a power steering pump pulley i know you mention a GM style pump. Do you have a part number for that?

I'll jump in and answer some since I installed a later alum water pump on my 1965 Dart 273. That was a newbie mistake right after buying the car because the only radiator I could buy at Autozone the lower hose on R side (but 1.5" tube, but perhaps not for slant since not angled). Yes, I imagined I'd be driving the car in a week.

I bought the later w.p. to match, plus half the price of 1965 w.p. The later w.p. is 1" thicker, which causes many issues since the fan pulley is now further out. Also had to change to the later Federal p.s. pump since no brackets for my TRW pump for the later w.p., but your 1967 may have a Federal pump (my 1969 did). Could only fit a thin nylon fan to clear the radiator, not even a factory standard fan and no clutch-fan could fit. A 1967 radiator support may be further forward. The "GM p.s. pump" is a Saginaw, used on later A's (1973+ or so). You can also buy brackets for it to fit the alum w.p. Home - Bouchillon Performance Engineering. The Federal pump just barely clears my K-frame. I had to be creative with belt routing and lengths (posted photos years ago, search, but your results may vary).

Just saw this. I came up with several brackets to install the aftermarket P/S pump. The most efficient and strongest is the one piece bracket. The one piece reduces flex, keeps the pump tucked closer to the engine, and adds needed access for A/C lines when using the HDK A/C compact compressor brackets.

Sorry for the delay.....always feel free to contact me directly
