904 kickdown lever

So remove the lever and take some of the bend out of it.
Typically that's something I would do but it's more than "some" lol. It's like a 1/2 inch worth or more with something that important i would rather have the correct part than bending the wrong one lol. I think Kim has me covered!

<rolls eyes> Please explain how in the world removing some of the bend will affect anything other than what you need changed. Dang boy, I think sometimes you look for roadblocks.

Lol I don't know! I will chunk it in vice Tomorrow and see if I can bend it to work.

Won't bending it out change the length. That may mess with the geometry a tad, though you could always weld up and re-drill the hole where you need it.

It won't hurt a thing.

The short lever is for the 2 bellcrank, 3 rod system. Used in all A Bodies, B Bodies up to 70 and including 1970, and the early C Bodies. The long lever is for the 1 pc rod system used on all E Bodies, 71 and up B Bodies and I think 69 and up C Bodies. They won't interchange correctly.

never got out to the barn to take a pic folks are takin' care of ya so that's awesome. Good luck
