i search for Barracudas for sale every day and found this on Facebook Marketplace listed in Erin, New York. it looks like a nice car and the sales price is $28,000. that would probably be a decent price for this car.

here's what's in the ad: This is a great piece. Stock interior which is mint with exception of aftermarket shifter. Paint appears to be orgionial. Saying that there is a couple minor spots that bubble I feel these could be touched up and blended buy the right shop. The 340 is built to 550 or 600 hp with x heads etc. But at the same time is street friendly. Trans reverse manual valve body and small stall. Definitely a fun ride. Might take half trade Cash or good old cash.. shoot me pics. I am looking for a nice 69/70 nova. Would trade for 1st gen camaro.

Looks nice.
Nice barracuda, I’m not sure in his 550-600hp claim with X heads.
I was curious about the engine bay pics missing. Absolutely nice and with Deluxe interior.

Looks like the car I owned when I started this site. Man I wish I could afford it. 55,000 members. If everyone chips in 50 cents I can buy it. Lol

Also has a narrow brake pedal so maybe an original std. shift car. Not sure but looks to have the lower dash pad off of 1968 models. Bobby

Sounds like a flipper or obviously someone that didn’t build it.

someone’s been through that car. For sure a whole 68 dash structure swapped in. That structure also has the vin riveted to it. So really check all the numbers

The dash fascia has been cleaned up and repainted. I doubt original paint. You need to see this in person with this type of seller. It may be an over-cammed pieced together mess that makes a lot of noise.

it does have a 150 mph speedo. I think that’s a auto pedal that is being covered by the cracked steering wheel.

IF it’s an original /6 or 318... $28K sounds high. I think when you dive into it, it will be a low $20K to high teen car. Would be for sure in southwest.

Agreed but appears to have the 340/383 exhaust cutouts in the rear which obviously could've been added.

when someone goes to the effort of changing the whole dash assembly everything is up for question.
