Let’s see those 255 60 15 rears!!!

-
These are pic's of the Dart with 255 60 15 M/T drag radials on Weld 15x7 wheels with 4.5 inch backspacing, rear leaf springs in stock location. The pic in the driveway is with a stock a body 8 3/4 rear axle, and the other 2 it has a Dana 60 narrowed to the width of the 8 3/4. With the 4.5 inch backspacing wheels I could cruise around with 4 adults in the Dart and the tires never once scuffed or rubbed at all. The Dart has the stock a body 10 inch drum brakes on the rear drilled out to the 4.5 bolt circle.

Wow! Never would have thought 255's would fit inside the wheel well of an early A body with the springs in the stock location. Thanks for posting.

Do the M/T/s handle well on the street? (I know you have to be extra careful in the rain, but dry road handling OK?)
