Stop in for a cup of coffee

You learned me something today! Thanks..
I learned this with my 57 Feather Craft, everyone on the site says not to mix steal, with aluminum, or even pressure treated wood, it degrades aluminum.

Well, finished mocking up my wire wheel buffer. Its a 3450 motor and a wheel rated for 3750. It barely vibrates. Now some guards. Next is to get the stand out of storage. And to find a place for it. Its kinda huge and kinda heavy. View attachment 1715683605
Thats fast, I hope that wire brush is up to that speed, yep, those little steal wires can do damage and inbed in your skin, do a careful pre run and hit a big screw diver first with some good protection, face shield and leather arms if you can, looks good

They will all lose wires eventually, but it’s rated for it... Have picked a few of them out of me. Like a pin cushion. Lol.

Not with the bubble back window.... Those years the engine HP was crap.... A stock Lil' Red Express could beat those.... :steering:
No, the 67or 68 I think it is. Stingray. It’s red. Sitting across from the cuda. I didn’t realize it’s not in the pictures.

Used to wire wheel a lot with my makita 7” grinder, properly rated cup brush. Its unbelievable where them wires end up. Dont usually feel them until a piece if clothing snags the wire. Gloves, overalls and a face shield with glasses.

Thats enough shop time for the day. I need some lunch. Bench grinder is marginally better, with the 2 8” wheels in it. To balance,i spun them around until gravity had no effect on them.

When we did that model 60 in December, I got pelted with those wires. I ended up throwing away my Carhart coat because of it. Just never could get all the wires out. Next time, I’m wearing a leather welding coat

Cheers from my bar stool, doctor said keep doing what I am doing.
Wet and 52 degrees here in town
