Agree the wing is much better in black. Now get to the track and give us some numbers!! :poke:

Have my travel limiters on the way. Should be here tomorrow and waiting for motion raceworks to get their monocord system back in stock so I can get on and get it wired up on the car. These wires off the wheel are getting out of hand.

Happy Freedom Friday Everybody!! Enjoy the weekend.

I have a few pieces I'm currently waiting on in the mail.
1. Steering wheel spacer to bring the steering wheel closer to me and make things easier in the cockpit during the race.
2. 6 pin connector that ill be mounting under the steering column to make life a little easier on my steering wheel buttons.
3. My new front springs are on the way. Going to a lighter spring up front instead of the very stiff ones I have now.

I'll be getting out there today and swapping back to the tr8ix plugs and those will carry me through the next 3 no preps and until I get to the west coast at the end of June. I also picked up a set ls3 coils to go with a set of mounts I got from BRG motorsports. The mounts will take the coils and put them on the cage bars that come up forward rather than them being mounted to the frame rails. Ill have some pictures of those hopefully later on today. Will also be readjustign my shock settings when I switch over the springs and making the comp/rebound adjustments fro no prep since i wont be able to make it to the MIR rental on Monday.

Had a great day testing this weekend at dominion. Have a few issue to address but we will be ready for dig or die.

Working with a few places to get her dialed in before next weekend, but March 27th, dig or die will be happening.

Some pictures from Dig or Die. Then you don't have to hear me talk through them.

Also will be featured in RPM Magazine coming soon.

Side note, I think I've tested this converter enough on prepped track surface and unprepped surfaces. So i pulled it back out of the car today and it's going back down to Cameron's to be restalled/loosened up a little bit. Should help in all aspects with how the car performs.

An LSx swap into a Mopar TOTAL RUINATION of a formerly nice car I'm so sick of "swap an LSx in everything with wheels"...... used to be "stick a small block Chevy in there".... that was bad enough. Now it's "gotta be a damned LS engine" to rob a saying of GM that was stickered on every GM car in the 70s-til the mid 80s "keep your GM all GM".... Along the same line.... Keep a Mopar, ALL Mopar! you want a LS, find a damn GM body to stuff it into.......

It's an honor to be featured in a prominent magazine. Congrats! You worked hard for it and deserve the prestige.

Oh this makes my heart so warm. Thank you very much. This is why the car is named Abomination. I appreciate your love and support sir. Thank you.

Thank you very much. It's been a long road and worth it 110%. Despite all the Mopar or no car, it's alot harder to put this engine/trans setup into a Mopar than it is to keep it Mopar, so I don't understand the neanderthal-like thinking in that aspect.

I'm glad there are some open minded forward thinking people still here. The internet is one thing that seems to empower people to be ugly, nasty and hateful, but every single mopar enthusiasts who has seen the car in person loves it. Even the ones who gave me the "thats an abomination" comment as soon as they saw the license plates.

Latest update on the Dart.
Converter is out snd was delivered back to Cameron's Converters on Friday and they will be reworking it for me seeing as I purchased it new from someone and it wasn't necessarily setup for my car. But I've tested it on enough surfaces to figure out it is too tight for my car/setup. Also got a few new o2 sensors being delivered today so that I don't have the same issue happen again tjat happened at dig or die. A new on for the aim wideband and a spare incase one of the other 2 go out.

Going over some general maintenance on the car and looking things over. Something I haven't had alot of time to do as of late. But glad I'm finally doing.

Also decided to go ahead and paint the walls in my trailer. Tired of looking at the solid wood in there. Went with a semi flat white from Behr. Was a nice weekend and with nothing else to do since I'm waiting on parts I figured what the heck. Cane out really good. Ignore the ratchet strap hanging fe the roof. I was very very careful around the dart obviously.

That white paint will reflect light better, making it appear lighter inside than with the wood. Besides, it smells different.

I have been lurking and watching the progress and appreciate you sharing the hotrod. Folks it's a hotrod and in magazines get a hold of yourself don't be an ***. I see amazing things here and I see people pushing each other to do great builds. This is an exceptional car and build and a veteran so as a vet let's share some awesome success we get to play with legos called cars fellas!

That's the same idea I had. Now my pig rich startups can paint the white walls instead of just the bare wood. Maybe that will change when I switch over to e85 this coming fall. Not to mention get some banners and stuff in there too. Along with some cabinets to help organize things better.

Thank you very much. I dont ask anybody to pay for it or give me parts by any means. I dont understand the pure hate some people have for it. I still build Legos with my kids, mostly star wars though.

It's obvious that you have done a tremendous amount of work on your car to get to the point that you are at, and equally obvious that you are enjoying what you have built.
I don't understand why some don't "approve" of a very fast hot rod, regardless of what it's built from. Hot rodding started with people stuffing whatever they could find for a powerplant into whatever they had for a vehicle, and no doubt there were some who disapproved, but look what that humble beginning has evolved into. It's your car, your money, your time, and your labor that has gone into what you have, I like it, and I'm impressed by what you've accomplished. A magazine feature is no small feat, congratulations and keep doing what you're doing.

To quote Mike Finnegan, “nothing is sacred”. Haters gonna hate. Don’t let em sway you. You’re car is awesome and you are out there getting it done. Keep the updates coming.
