Thinking about selling my car

-
Why not flip it...
I did see a nice clean install like that posted somewhere on the forums have considered it. Gauge port pluming might get interesting. I think I can shorten the ends on Jegs steel, double flair them, moving it closer to the carb to gain needed clearance. And if I screw it up, I'm just out time and effort, so no big deal.

No leakage from the copper line....yet. My Holley blue is regulated @ 6-1/2 psi. I slapped on a new 6903 Carter pump with plans to remove the electric. Will find out tomorrow if it is over pressure like others have complained about.........

BTW, This 3310 set up is only temporary as I'll get a six pack back on it later this year.

Let me say this. I have days I feel like just selling everything and say screw it all!!!!!! Then I start to count my blessings and then all the frustration I feel seems to be not as bad as I thought.
Instead of looking at that car I been busting my chops on and seeing all I need to do I look and see all I have done.
I couldn't agree with you more!
How many times that I have thought seriously about getting out of the game completely.
Then I step back and calm down a bit.
And then I give it a few days to think about it and I realize how much I love these things!
Is it realistic to have this much stuff? No.
Is it delusional? Yes.

But, it's in my blood and I love these cars good and bad, and that is the main thing that I default to...........

^^^^^ Was it not the great Colonel Sanders that said " There is nothing better in life, than a bucket of his chicken and a pasture full of old Mopars"!????

Sorry to hear this, Tony.
You've gotta do what's right for your health and well being.
And if it means selling the car, then so be it.
Good luck with it all, and hope everything works out in your favor.........
Just now reading this post, I read sloooo.ooho, X2 on this reply :thumbsup:

Fortunately I don't have days like that, but there are days where nothing gets done because something has the priority that day (some days that's a nap). Part of the reason is that my wife is behind me on the cars (one of them is hers anyway - the GTS convertible). I'm starting a new temp job on Wednesday so today I went to a friend's house to try to figure out why his 440 was running poorly on his engine stand and then to another friend's house/shop to pick up my scope. Donna went with me, partly just for the ride.

Before you sell it. Find a reason it offended someone then it will be banned and you will get an enormous amount of money for it.

Go buy a box of nails right now...... Ain't cheap.... OK, so they are marking things up. Meanwhile the scrap prices are crap.... Hmmmmm, we have a problem!

JW
Have you bought treated lumber lately? WOW!

There is NO shortage of pine timer/lumber/mills right her in SE Texas. There has been a huge increase in demand for lumber ever sine the Covid deal sent people home and the homeowner has been looking for projects to do to keep busy as we all know.
The trucking industry has been hit with Covid (them claim) and now rising fuel costs. Then there is MORE profit to be made b the retailer because of huge demand.
I have been wanting to get up a roof and conctrete here for couple years now. Saving pennies, just to now find it takes dollars!!! ha I will probably build it it of used oil stem and Mexican discounted C's and tin! So where do I find affordable concrete in an area that has NO gravel!???? Ha again!

Cut down all those pine trees over there or come get some cedar from me and make you a log foundation and driveway:poke:

It must be nice.
I've admittedly have too much stuff that I will never use in my lifetime.
My plan is to sell off what I will never use or get to in my lifetime when I get to that point.
I just need to sort out the doubles and triples of what I have.
And that's coming within the next 2 years or so, I've already started........

Parts is a challenge. I think they dont want old cars on the road so they make it difficult. also the foreign made stuff is junk, best to have a stash of used good parts.
