Well I learned a lesson today when I was doing dishes I noticed the dish washer was getting dirty on the inside walls and also my white coffee mugs were getting coffee stains. SOOOO being some what of a clean freek and a know it all I put some bleach in the dish washer along with all my coffee cups thinking a simple chore and about half way through the wash cycle I opened it up and found my dish washer was full of foam and it leaked out on the floor.
So I cleaned the foam out and filled the kitchen sink with foam and started the dish washer again. And now after cleaning the foam out of the dish washer 4 times I now have clean coffee cups and my dish washer is clean. Never will I do that again. lol
Water softener and use res care in the brine tank should solve your problems. Drinking water supply doesn’t go through softener. Bath tubs, showers, all fixtures stay clean and easy to clean

depends on you're idea of expensive, but i was able to cut cost by shopping around and doing some stuff myself

a 20 foot 30 amp cord will run you 50 bucks
i was about to buy both end for 9 dollars a piece, and wire for about 50 cents a foot, end ended up making that cord for 28 myself

the interlock was 30
the inlet box was 64

then some odds and ends, the 30 amp breaker, dont quite remember, 25 bucks?
and some wire to run from the inlet box into the breaker panel, and the conduit it runs through...another 50?

that puts it at right about 200 bucks

plus however much you got in the generator itself, in my case, about 600 bucks

oh, and however much it was to pull a permit, i dont remember how much it was, but you really want to do that part to cover your butt
How much was the switching or do you have to manually start

When you have a large lot, I just cannot justify watering that large lawn. When dry weather comes, I let the grass go dormant. It comes back around after a rain. Water is too pricey and will become scarce in some areas.
Fred it is good to see the Scamp outside. You've got her polished bright as the sun.

Was dusty and was hoping it would blow off in the wind but Nooo.
I do the same with my grass but water the shrubs and apple tree.

I hear you...BUT I will be drawing my sprinkling water out of my retention pond

So no drinkable water will be sacrificed for my lawn

I hardly ever wash my car now unless it gets really dirty which hardly ever happens. I just use the Hollywood Duster and then Autoglym detailer with a microfiber cloth.

Morning guys and happy Sunday (7th one this week)
Dull and overcast but it is 12c so far.
Here's a little nostalgia this morning.

Are you done plowing the fields CF? I haven't seen anyone here in the fields yet.
I got all of them worked near the house but now have standing water with all of the rain we have had. I got an inch last night alone. I have not heard back from the guy that wanted me to farm his ground a couple miles away. I called him about a month ago to ask if he still wanted me to farm it and he said yes but let me talk to the wife. That is the last I heard.

Maybe this is saying you don't need all the extra work involved what with your full time job and the fields you already have. I'm sure those two things keep you hoping oh and plus the derby cars as well.

Another field to work that will keep you busy. No real good rain here yet.

I'd love to Fred but could rain all day. Touch and go right now... if it does stop and dry up then yes I will be out there. Can you go out now?
Yes but I have relatives visiting so I'll go another day.
Took it out yesterday and a friend of mine stopped me with his 70 Dart and we sat on the side of the road and bull shitted for over an hour. Was a great day.
